Expert Reviews

What reviewers liked

An extra long knit cuff helps ensure these mittens stay on while playing and creates an extra barrier against the elements when placed under a jacket. The adjustable strap helps keep mittens in place and creates a comfortable fit.
One of the greatest reasons why we love this so much is because they are really warm on your baby’s fingers. The cuffs are great love-it’s because they run almost all the way to the elbows. They tuck in real well under your babies winter coat without being too bulky and don’t serve much of a hindrance on snug baby outfits.

Super durable for any winter activity, the adjustable wrist strap also ensures they will stay secure. The inside is a Drypel lining and the insulation is fiberfill and Thinsulate.
These gloves have 40g Thinsulate insulation plus 100g Polyfill which adds warmth without bulk. Another feature is that they have a fully waterproof Drypel liner. There is a tough grip padding on the palms and would be great for winter sports liking skiing and snowboarding.
Kids will appreciate the color selection available for these mittens. While most mittens are black, the Snowstoppers come in black, black/red, lime green, navy blue, red, fuschia, navy blue/lime green and more.
A great idea for playing in the snow, short outings on skis, going to school and a couple of hours of sledding.

What reviewers didn't like

They need to be hand washed without bleach as Nylon might be worn off in strong machine washes.

The cuff isn’t waterproof. Just the glove part.
Not machine washable.
I tried running water on the gloves to see how well the fabric repelled moisture. Less water beaded up and more water absorbed than I expected, which meant the gloves took a while to dry. And if the cuff gets wet, watch out!
