The knife slots are designed to be easier for handling and they have become larger to accommodate larger knives. All of the knife slots are designed to be made wider and to fit different blade sizes. They can make knives storage stress-free so you no longer need to fumble around cooking.
If you have some extra counter space than I personally suggest that you store your knives in this knife block. Other than the function that it has, it also has a great design and it can easily fit with the rest of your kitchen gadgets.
Holds a good number of both small and large knives. Enough room to fit 8 steak knives. The block also has a spot for a pair of kitchen scissors. Angled slots so knives glide in easily. Slots are also deep enough to accomodate most knives.
All of the slots on this knife block are wide, which allow you to fit blades of various sized and types into them. The non skid rubber feet keep will keep your countertop from being scratched and damaged by this knife block, and will also ensure that your knife block doesn’t move about when you are pulling out or putting one in.

Some slots are much longer. Bamboo veneer is not finished smoothly.
It takes too much counter space. Spacing between slots is too close so when you fill every slot it doesn't look very presentable and you have trouble with finding knives.
Not enough space for storing many thinner knives since a lot of slots are fairly wide.
