From The Manufacturer

The Shark Rocket Complete TruePet with DuoClean Technology provides Triple Particle Cleaning for floors and carpets, removing small, large, and stuck-on particles. On carpet, the self-cleaning soft velvet brush roll pulls in high piles and large particles, while the deep-cleaning bristle brush removes the embedded fine dirt. On bare floors, direct engagement with a soft brush roll removes stuck-on dust, fine dust, and large particles, which are accelerated into the high-velocity suction channel by the bristle brush. The floor nozzle is designed with a brush roll garage that allows for quick access to the brush roll from the top of the vacuum, making maintenance quick and easy. Weighing about 10 pounds, this lightweight vacuum has advanced swivel steering, a removable dust cup, and 2X the capacity of the original Rocket vacuum HV300. It’s extremely maneuverable and never loses suction or power. Not only is this vacuum great on floors, it converts to a handheld, making stairs, furniture, and other above-floor surfaces easy to clean. Its slim design and handy wand are also perfect for reaching up to high, narrow spaces and under furniture using the quick-release foot pedal to separate the floor nozzle. The bright LED lights on the nozzle and handheld vacuum illuminate your work area so you can easily spot hidden debris. This vacuum includes an extensive number of accessories, including a TruePet Mini Motorized Brush for pet hair and dander pick-up on stairs and upholstery, an under-appliance wand to clean under and behind hard-to-move appliances, a dusting brush, duster crevice tool, and upholstery tool. Two accessories can be stored onboard. Plus, the generous 30-foot power cord helps you cover lots of ground. There are multiple storage options. The wall mount allows you to hang up your vacuum, optimizing floor space. A second, more compact storage option is to hook the hand vac onto the base of the wand.

Expert Reviews

What reviewers liked

This vacuum effortlessly changes over to a handheld, making stairs or more complex floor surfaces simple to clean. The LED lights on the nozzle allow you to spot concealed debris and dust. Surprisingly, the Shark Rocket DuoClean is not as noisy as the previous Rocket versions. The container is easy to empty and clean.
This vacuum can easily and automatically adapt in cleaning carpets and hardwood floors. It has a five-year warranty.
Lighweight, good suction and eaasy to clean and maintain
It's easy to assemble. There's no need to switch accessories or settings when you move from room to room. There is, however, a two-speed power switch on the handle so you can go gentler on bare floors or delicate rugs, or harder on deep carpets with below-the-surface dirt.
It’s light, versatile and yet still retains the power cord so you can still use it to clean the whole house.
The DuoClean head picks up particles large and small from pebbles and Cheerios to fine dust. It also does a decent job picking up the dirt ground into the carpet. Plus you can detached the head to use as a handheld vacuum cleaner.
Both the handheld and the full unit have integrated LED headlights to see under furniture, dark closets, and other low light areas. Maneuvering around furniture is easy with the built-in swivel steering. The wand can be attached to the handheld for high cleaning.
One of the newer features is ‘Brushroll Garage’ – it provides quick access to the brush roll from the top of the DuoClean cleaning head, making its maintenance quick and easy.
It performs well on carpet and bare floors

What reviewers didn't like

However, the bin is too small, the filtration is not HEPA and the unit needs to be leaned against a wall because it doesn’t stand on its own.
First, it’s too loud for its category. Although its noise level is not that annoying for those who are used to it, however, if you need quitter vacuum, better find another product. Secondly, the product has stick design that is alike to Dyson V6. The thing here is, it can’t stand alone. Perhaps, the brand just focused on enhancing the lightweight feature without realizing they compromising the convenience of the user.
It doesn't stand upright
It does not have any tools or the detachable wand that will allow it to clean upholstery.
This vacuum is loud for its product category. It doesn’t stay upright on its own. While you can get the head under low tables and chairs, it doesn’t lay totally flat to vacuum under the couch or some other pieces of furniture.
Due to the design of the spinning brush rolls, pet and human hair and other similar dirt can get entangled and prevent DuoClean cleaning head from operating properly.
No HEPA filter and will not stand upright.
