Expert Reviews

What reviewers liked

It is relatively lightweight for an upright and isn’t as noisy as other upright vacuums. The lift-away functionality adds more versatility to it – allows it to clean above the floor areas
It is great at grabbing most debris (including pet hair) from most kinds of floors and swiveling joint makes it easy to steer.
This vacuum performs well when cleaning bare floors, ideal for kitchens, bathrooms, and hardwood floors. It has suction control, which helps protect drapes when using tools and a brush on/off switch, which safeguards bare floors and prevents the scattering of dust and debris
The Shark Navigator has more tools than most of the comparable vacuum cleaners, including two different crevice tools.
This vacuum cleaner works under the notion that all homes are not created equally, and most surfaces require tricky techniques to be dusted. Now you can finally clean those hard to reach areas of your home by lifting the canister off and sliding the vacuum head under isolated places.
It requires only 10 amps – save a lot of electricity and the suction is better than the Hoover’s 12 amp motor when running. Also, it is able to convert to a light canister which is very portable or still on the rolling nozzle base.

What reviewers didn't like

Even though it swivels, it does not swivel as smoothly as other brands like a Dyson. It has no LED headlight and controls on the handle.
The plug-in vacuum—not as convenient as a cordless.
The on/off switch is inconveniently placed. It requires manually emptying the bin, which is messier and sometimes presents problems for those with allergies or other respiratory issues and lacks a manual carpet-height adjustment, which is better than automatic systems at matching the brush to the surface.
This vacuum is more expensive than most budget options, at over $100.
It has short power cord and may overheat
Also, you should pay attention to some of the terms which I will mention next. The power cord covers one room only, though it is not so hard to attach an extension cord. Moreover, the one-way direction of the beater bars does not do well as expected because of the short length which cannot turn into different mode as easy as it would be. Also, the canister is bulky when trying to get under furniture, therefore it cannot get through the nozzle head.
