Expert Reviews

What reviewers liked

My child rested well on this mattress, and continues to sleep like a champ in her toddler bed using this mattress. The mattress hasn't sagged or warped even after years of use.
It has a hospital grade waterproof cover and hypoallergenic cushioning to prevent the growth of mold, mildew, and allergens.
Being lightweight, the mattress is easy to move or lift when this is required.
A built-in airflow pocket allows fresh air to circulate with ease.

What reviewers didn't like

We also tested the Sealy Baby Firm Rest, which has innersprings and a thinner vinyl cover. We found that cover was easy to puncture. Its seams were also easy to pull out, and it made some noise when my kids rolled around on it, and generally felt like a significantly less durable mattress than the Sealy soybean mattress.
Some customers claim that the waterproof coating makes noise when the baby shifts around on it.
An indentation may develop where the baby sleeps.
Due to the interwoven springs, this mattress may begin to show signs of wear and sag sooner than purchasers expect.
