With an adjustable, quick-release seat collar, this kid’s bike is designed to grow with your little one as they learn to balance. The 12-inch spoked mag wheels are made with air-filled tires. A ball bearing headset allows for easy steering with chrome-finished handle bars. This kid’s bike ships ready to be assembled. The wheels measure 12 inches. Designed for kids ages two to four.

Expert Reviews

What experts liked

The frame being made of durable metal doesn't bend, nor does it deform in case of impacts. The tires have a decent wear and tear allowance and suit for riding off-road.
Delivers a smooth ride with its inflatable tires. Its handle bars and seat are very easy to adjust. Comes at a mid-range price.
The Schwinn 12-Inch is well-made and has a low step-through design, making it a cinch to mount. At over 14 pounds, it weighs a lot more than some of its competitors, but for some children, it's exactly what's needed for a sturdier ride.
This balance bike is durable and very affordable.

What experts didn't like

The lack of padding on the bolt might lead to accidental kid's injuries. In our opinion, the only thing that requires improvement in this bike is adding the covers on the bolts of the wheels. Being located not much farther from the platform, they may easily get in the way one day and scratch a leg of a cyclist.
Our reviewers found that the design is a bit awkward for a small kids - and at more than 13 pounds, its heavy.
In addition, the footrest was problematic for the younger kids. Protruding far out from the sides of the seat, both toddlers had problems with their calves hitting the footrests as they walked or ran on the bike.
