Expert Reviews

What experts liked

Even without the addition of its included external FM antenna, we were able to easily tune all but three of the 40 FM radio stations within listening range of Montgomery, AL, and though AM reception wasn’t quite as good via the internal antenna, we still locked into the most popular local AM stations with ease.
Top-rated, retro radio for quality sound. Has great speaker volume for a tabletop radio. Good tuner performance and reception. Sleek wooden cabinet for a softer, less electronic look for the home. Aux port in back for device input. Easy to use, especially the tuning.
Acoustic Cabinet technology provides high-quality sound
It’s not only incredibly simple to operate, with controls a child could understand, but it offers clear and dynamic sound quality.
These connections include a headphone jack, 3.5 mm auxiliary input and a Record-Out jack for connecting the radio to recording equipment.
LED indicator to indicate proper tuning
The WR-11 also offers a 3.5mm headphone jack for private listening of your favorite radio programming.
Option to play digital music through the speaker is a great feature for some
The reception is great with options for both an internal and external wire antenna, with reviewers commenting how this radio picks up AM stations not receivable by any other indoor-use radio.

Bass is too heavy for some users. Broke for a few consumers after only a year of use.
There’s no HD, no Wi-Fi, no Bluetooth.
Can’t be battery powered
The bass in the output is a bit high.
No USB ports
