What reviewers liked

The Q6FN upgrades from HDR compatibility to HDR10 and HDR10+ support, from 60 FPS to full 4K gaming support, and from an incomplete color range to 100% DCI-P3 color volume. It hits UHD resolution and supports SD-to-UHD upscaling.
A lot of this comes down to brightness, where the Samsung Q6F excelled with a blazing 1,422 nits.
The TV does a very good job reducing motion blur, and has very good sound.
Gamers will be pleased by the excellent low input lag and support for variable refresh rates, and the TV can also interpolate low frame rate content with low input lag for a smooth gaming experience.
Very good contrast ratios and black levels.
- 4K
The native contrast ratio of Samsung Q6FN is excellent, more than 6000:1.
The Samsung QN65Q6F 4K 65-inch LED backlit TV includes Samsung’s advanced Q Color & Contrast will give you deeper blacks and colors using quantum dot technology. The 240 Motion Rate anti-blur technology combines a native 120Hz Panel along with backlight control to provide blur free, clear motion, great for sports and fast moving action.
A new feature of this 2018 TV is the Bixby implementation which makes the interaction with the TV so much easier. And we are talking about voice interaction, for example you can ask Bixby to search for content, flip channels or even ask for the current weather and much more.
Very helpful smart capabilities simplify operation. Includes Ambient Mode so you can personalize the screen when you are not watching TV.

What reviewers didn't like

We noticed that QLEDs tended to have problems with color contrast and deep blacks when watching them at odd angles. Samsung solved this problem by adding anti-reflective screens to every 2018 TV ... except the Q6FN. A
The Q6F isn't flawless, however. Viewing angles are a bit disappointing, with noticeable color shifting setting in when viewed even 45 degrees off axis. Backlighting also isn't quite uniform, with minor shadows in the corners of the screen.
HDR performance has limited effectiveness
Unfortunately, the image loses accuracy when viewed at an angle.
TV’s local dimming technology is really poor, with only limited dimming zones and because of this, it suffers from noticeable bleed-through and halo effects during sequences in which brightly lit content is contrasting with dark backgrounds.
- 4K
But unfortunately, comes with local dimming technology, its local dimming is not effective to boost its native contrast ratio.
You may need to run firmware upgrades to make the most of the smart options.
