The 13-amp motor spins the blade at maximum speeds of 5,600 RPM
A mildly powerful 5000 RPM saw with a rip capacity of 12 1/2 inches, the Ryobi RTS08 is a decent all-arounder for satisfactory professional work and excellent home use.

Might be a bit underpowered for heavy-duty ripping work
It is NOT the most stable saw in the world. After an hour of using it, I felt like I’d been trapped inside a rogue paint mixer. My body still vibrates thinking about it.
The model is corded, and you might need cord extensions
Compared to other economic models, the Ryobi bench saw seems to be more noisy, also the extension of the workbench is not perfectly flat with the same.
