Expert Reviews

What reviewers liked

It includes continuous- loop recording, crash sensing and time stamps.
Rexing’s V1 currently retails for $100, a reasonable price which makes it difficult to beat as a basic all-arounder.
Great night vision with full HD, Has an adhesive mount instead of an iffy suction cup.
The night video produced by the Sony Exmor sensor was good, especially in low-light conditions.

What reviewers didn't like

but we found its poor viewing angles made it all but impossible to see what was being recorded.
Adhesive mount is permanent and, as such, is difficult to clean up should you remove camera.
The V1 has a GPS port, and there’s a $30 add-on module, but the auxiliary camera port is deceiving because the V1 is only single-channel.
