What reviewers liked

This premium PS4 wireless headset features stunning 7.1 Dolby surround sound, an awesome 16 hr. battery life between charges, memory foam ear cushions, and a comfortable lightweight design.
But again, the sound is excellent no matter how you connect.

We were especially impressed with one small but thoughtful touch from Razer. Foam indentations allow glasses to sit comfortably against your head. If you do wear glasses, you know all too well the struggle of trying to make headphones work without cramming the arms of your glasses against your temples.
Razer Thresher 7.1 looks big and bulky, but in real life, it’s actually very comfortable and somehow feels light when worn (though it’s supposed to weigh 400 grams).
We also liked the fact that the Razer Thresher 7.1 PS4 Headset stays firmly in place and this is thanks to the microfiber-like pads located beneath the metal headband.
Fortunately, this headset has everything you need to alter the games’ audio as you have the ability to change your games volume from the wheel at the bottom of the right ear cup, if you press the wheel in until it clicks, it will mute the sound which is a great feature that headsets I’ve owned before haven’t had.

What reviewers didn't like

It’s one of the more expensive PS4 headsets out there.
The Thresher’s confusing controls, lack of mic monitoring, and warm ear cushions did annoy me from time to time, but none of these issues caused me to box the set up or stop using it on Xbox or PS4, which is a testament to the sound quality of the Thresher headsets.

Bad luck if you want to use the headset to listen to music from your phone. Headset will also beep to warn you if you are too far from the receiver.
The headset is slightly heavier compared to the other gaming headsets around
One final gripe is that the headset isn’t very comfortable for long play sessions. After playing for extended sessions, I found that my ears felt really sore, this could have just been the size of my ears as maybe they were too big for the ear cups or this could be a general problem with the headset but it’s something to note.
