Expert Reviews

What reviewers liked

Simply attach one clip to the handlebars and one to the seat, then hoist your bike to the ceiling. A secure locking mechanism prevents unwanted release, making this great for heavy bikes that are harder to lift.
This is a heavy dirty rack. It works on ceilings up to 12 feet high and boasts an impressive weight capacity of 100lbs.
Because it will hoist up to 100 lbs easily, the RAD bike lift is the top garage bike rack for those with lifting or movement limitations.
They’re suitable for hanging anything from a child’s tricycle to a heavy-duty mountain bike.
Rope is thicker than most pulley systems.
The RAD Cycle Lift Hoist is an aluminum, rust-proof hoist that has rubber-coated hooks to keep your bike safe.
Together with the double-hook design, you can place your bike in a balanced position. The rubber-coated hooks won’t affect the paint job on your bikes.
It truly does save you a lot of room! In a smaller garage, all the free space on the walls and floor is already occupied by cabinets, shelves, and stands. We bet you’ve probably never thought of using your ceiling for storage!
Cheap bike hoist system.

What reviewers didn't like

The screws that come with the lift are not really up to the job, so it’s a good idea to pick up some heavier mounting screws.
Plastic pulleys are flimsy.
This system is not designed to for laying your bike horizontally.
Your ceiling needs to be not higher than 12ft, so if you have a really high garage, you won’t be able to use the hoists.
First off, the installation manual is not the most friendly, it is one double sided sheet with a few images but not very clear instructions.
