Custom games don’t count toward player and weapon level progression but the ability to jump into a custom mode tuned a little easier made learning the intricacies of levels much less stressful.

Black Ops 4continue the series’ tradition of keeping split-screen for its various game modes. Even Blackout has split-screen, which is impressive considering the other major battle royale games are online-only.

The most shocking change is that you can now choose which perks you want to spawn on the map, and even assign their locations.

I had much more fun with Black Ops 4's new Rush mode, which pits players against each other in an murder race to see who can gather the most points by offing zombies.

The Heist gamemode, a new addition to the series, offers round-based multiplayer shooting that puts you into a buy menu at the start of each round, all the better to blow the earnings you accumulated from killing enemies.

Despite the enormous size and maze-like structure of some of the Zombies maps, they don’t feel cryptic. With enough exploration, you can find all the buttons and items you need to open them up to access better weapons and gear.

Traditional multiplayer is not only a refreshing return to team-based combat after an oversaturation of battle royale games on the market, but it also changes enough to keep players interested.

What experts didn't like
The continuing Zombies storyline hasn't aged well, with offensive and distracting dialogue

Playing with bots isn’t without its problems, though. While the three robotic comrades would usually stick close, their path finding was sometimes a little shaky which led to more than one missed revive, but overall I found them to be a great way to experience Zombies.

The downside is that the text in split-screen is obnoxiously small, making it virtually impossible to read most of the words on the screen, and we couldn’t find any settings to change the text size. Still, having a somewhat flawed split-screen option in the game is better than having no split-screen at all.
- Game Rant
I did find the Theater could go a bit wonky and stop responding properly if the clip showed a player emoting, tagging, or even spraying heavy gunfire action.

It’s worth noting that I’ve experienced some serious stability problems while playing the game on my home PC (part of my time playing was also at an Activision review event). Though it runs for hours without incident, I’ve had occasional crashes in virtually every mode, some in the middle of games.

Zombies bots are too strong and not that smart
- Digital Trends
While some might see the lack of a single-player campaign as an easy way out for an annual force of a franchise, it's clear after only a brief time with Bo4 it's more of a braggadocious move by a team offering up the best Call of Duty in a long time.

An Overview On Playstation Games

PlayStation games are constantly evolving, drawing larger crowds and critics with each new product. How do you know which one is going to be the best? Let’s take a look at some of the best components of PlayStation, and then hear what the consumers have to say.

Sony is the developer and producer of Playstation, a video gaming console. The original was born in 1994, Playstation 2 arrived in 2000 and Playstation 3 hit the shelves in 2006. The appeal of the original was a faster, clearer and visually-enhanced experience. With the second version, the progression of processing power was greatly advanced, and the model offered USB ports, as well as a modem that gave players access to online gaming. PS3 was a result of competition with Xbox and Wii, and it certainly stepped up the game. With a cell processor, ethernet port, Bluetooth, Wi-Fi, extra storage and web browser among other features, PS3 was ready for online gaming at its best. The latest model, Playstation 4, tops them all with access to a personal network account, tournaments and communities, live streaming, share play features and a social group chat area.

Each progression has brought countless games to consumers. Consumers will find old favorites that have been revised and enhanced for PlayStation 4. The old games have been updated with better graphics and more features for players. “Assassin’s Creed Odyssey” is one such game. “Assassin’s Creed” has been around for quite a while and has engrossed countless players with beautiful scenery that imitates the ancient Greek countryside. Players will feel completely immersed with outstanding graphics and reactionary worlds within the game. Find the best of old and new in this fan-favorite.

For an action-packed gaming experience, there are few choices that consumers recommend. “Marvel’s Spider-Man” offers an out-of-this-world, superhero game. Although the superheroes feel a bit worn out, this game brings a refreshing model of interaction that truly captivates the player. Another edge-of-your-seat game is “Red Dead Redemption 2.” This game is set in the country-western style of America. Cowboys battle over land and property in epic saloon gunfights and stand-offs. These two will give you the action battles you want from a good console game.

If you are crazy about post-apocalyptic worlds and their imagined creatures, then “Horizon Zero Dawn” is the game for you. With robotic animals and creative weapons, you’ll find yourself transported to another world in this captivating game of good versus evil.

Don’t limit yourself to just one genre, give them all a try. When friends come over for a fun game night, you’ll have options for everyone’s taste, and you are sure to enjoy all these top picks.

DWYM Fun Fact

Sony’s PlayStation can be found in the majority of homes. With 80% of homes owning a console, you are sure to find a friend to game with. In addition, 9.4 million PlayStation 4 consoles have been sold in the United States alone and 40 million throughout the world. It’s no wonder it is so popular — the PlayStation 4 games are consistently on the best-selling list year after year. One game that has attracted countless players is the ‘Star Wars: Battlefront” and even has more players than Xbox One and Windows PCs. It is obviously at the top of its game with enhanced graphics and countless players.
