The fan stops working: this is by far the most common and frustrating “con” associated with this appliance. Many people have found that the fan simply stops working after a week or so, resulting in a burning smell and an all-around useless machine.

Limited cooking times and instructions – Cooking times can be set by the minute up to sixty minutes. In dehydration mode, control is more limited – the timer can be set up to 24 hours in 30 minute increments.
