What experts liked

Easy to read LCD display
Switches easily between units of measure. Sleek, stylish look in a compact package. Lightweight. Battery life is excellent
Another factor that makes this choice one of the best one to be considered is the fact that it comes with a glitch-free setup, it means that even if you manage to get water on to it or expose it to moisture, you stand no chance of losing the functionality of the machine. This factor in particular works wonderfully considering the fact that one does manage to get water on to so many appliances when in kitchen.
High accuracy measuring capacity. Battery driven with power saving mode.
Features a tare button which automatically subtracts the weight of any bowl or container to calculate the net weight of your ingredients.
It has large unit button to change the measurement unit with the ease of push button. It has five different units to pick. It has large screen LCD displays for wide viewing angle.
It looks sturdy because of weighing platform finished in chrome, and it is easy to use with only two buttons. Easy to store, as well, because of its compact size and shape.
It has a stylish weighing platform that is spacious enough to place your food, and it comes with a chic chrome finish that adds to its overall appeal.
It is capable of calculating the net weight of the ingredients without including that of the bowl for accurate recipes and spot-on dishes. The second button converts the units from milliliters to ounces to pounds or grams and vice versa. It interacts with you through the sufficiently large LCD screen.
Touch the Automatic Unit button to choose among five different units of measurement. This is also handy when you need to convert different units in one recipe.
This smart food scale has a chrome plate or weighing platform where you can put a food item that needs measurement. There are two buttons—one for power and tare function while another is for charging the unit. There is also an LCD screen where you can see the weight and measurement units. So, this scale is easy to use.

It has a built-in button to convert your measurements in an instant and display them in an easy-to-read LCD screen. Meanwhile, the tare button will give you the total weight of your recipes in case you use a container or bowl.
The streamlined scale has just two function buttons, one that turns it on and resets the scale to zero—helpful for ingredients that need to be weighed in a bowl or plastic container, and the other that switches the measurements between pounds and ounces and kilograms and grams.
The enlarged weighing surface is cast with chrome to enhance its finish. Equally, this coating makes it very easy to clean with just a damp cloth.
Like our top pick, it weighs in 1-gram or 0.05-ounce increments, and in our tests we found it was just as accurate—slightly more so at heavier weights.
Intelligent tare option that excludes the weight of container and measures the net weight of ingredients only

What experts didn't like

May not be as robust as other digital scales
Weighs in two-grams increments- accuracy can be an issue. Quickly cycles off. Tare setting is unreliable.
It weighs up to 11 pounds, but it rounds up, so accuracy is questionable. For example: if something weighs 3.4 grams it will register 3 grams until you have 3.5. Then it rounds it up to 4. This may be a problem if you want exactly 2.3 grams of something, then this scale is useless for you.
Tare function starts malfunctioning after a few months
However it automatically shuts off after about two minutes, about half as long as the Escali. We also found it was ever so slightly slower, often requiring two seconds to read really small weights.
Tare button tends to give inconsistent numbers for the same weight
