From The Manufacturer

Whether peeling a Granny Smith apple or a fruit with a tougher skin, this Y-peeler is most suitable for the task. Its sharp, wide stainless-steel blades contour to almost any surface shape. The built-in potato eye remover is durable and can easily carve out blemishes without digging. The Good Grips line features durable, nonslip flexible handles on every product. Ergonomically designed to fit the palm comfortably and softly, the pressure-absorbing processed rubber handle puts less tension on the hands, while providing an outstanding grip. Made from the same material dishwasher gaskets are constructed of, the handles are slip-proof, wet or dry, as well as dishwasher-safe. Good Grips products are moderately priced and have won the Tylenol/Arthritis Foundation Design Award.

Expert Reviews

What experts liked

This has a stainless steel blade that contours, and a more substantial yet soft, nonslip handle. The rubber grip absorbs pressure for less tension on your hand, and the blade swivels so you can peel in any direction. This peeler has a built-in potato eyer and a hole for hanging.
- Bustle
This peeler has a lightweight, simple design with a super sharp blade, making it surprisingly fast for such an inexpensive product. It was comfortable to hold, with a soft rubber handle and textured side grips.
This offered one of the best grips of all the peelers we tested. The peeler coped well with the rounded ends of a potato which can prove tricky. It's sharp enough too for soft skins and citrus, plus it has a potato eyer. This peeler is made of durable plastic.
For kitchen gadgets – vegetable peeler, pepper grinder, grater, can opener – I mostly just buy OXO Good Grips items because I consistently have been having good experiences with that brand.

What experts didn't like

Its thinner arch did lead it to clog a bit more easily than the other peelers.
This peeler is an extra few pounds.
