Perfect for those who are convinced you need a bucket to truly wash a floor-no bending over required! Gets behind toilets, and around and under furniture in a way that microfiber in a way that microfiber mops can't.
- BestReviews
Everything you could wish for in a mop bucket. Its 2½-gallon capacity can hold enough water for any job, but it weighs less than 20 pounds when full, and is easy to lift out of a sink and move from room to room. Its compact, rectangular shape doesn’t waste closet or cabinet space, it’s easy to pour, and its stable design is less likely to slide or spill than others we tried.
- The New York Times
Because the mop head is made from microfiber, you can use it to collect dirt and dust from your floors when it’s dry. I think this is an awesome feature, as it lets you quickly go over the floor and pick up any lingering hair and dust that the vacuum might not have caught.
- The Spruce
Assembling the mop was so simple I didn’t even need to consult the instructions that came with it. I simply extended the pole, which starts out about the length of two bananas, and popped on the triangle-shaped head. The bucket, which holds six liters of water, comes in one piece. All I needed to contribute was floor cleaner.

The O-Cedar EasyWring mop makes wringing out the mop head extremely easy and hands free. The basket spins surprisingly fast. This mop does a great job of cleaning a wide variety of messes.
- Modern Castle
It has an excellent splash guard. This mop and bucket system is minimal mess compared to most mop and bucket systems. You aren’t going to splash dirty water around as you try to wring the mop threads, nor do you have to deal with stray dirty strings not quite making it into the bucket.
- Prime Reviews
As for the mop head, it’s made from deep-cleaning microfiber that wipes out up to 98 percent more bacteria and 93 percent more viruses compared to traditional mops. It’s ergonomically designed to rotate 360 degrees to get into hard-to-reach areas and corners and is attached to a slim handle that can be extended or shortened to suit your height — a big win for those with lower backaches.
- Apartment Therapy
The bucket has a built-in splash protector, so you don’t get wet water all over your floor. A convenient pedal system makes it simple to wring out excess water, and the bucket itself is difficult to top over accidentally.
- Clean Home Guide
The material is known for its high performance, in terms of absorbency, picking up dirt and easy cleaning. The mop not only removed more dirt, it did a good job tackling grime, dust and hair, too. It is definitely noticeable how smooth and clear the floor is after mopping.
- Cleanup Expert
The microfiber mop head is like a magnet to dirt. It works both on tile and hardwood floors. It is not that heavy but it makes up for it with results. When used correctly it will not leave residue on the floor. Your floor will be clean and looking beautiful.
- Franklin County Free Press
It’s the only mop on the list with a triangular head. This allows it to clean corners more naturally than round mopheads. The handle telescopes from 24” to 36” and 48”. One of the shorter lengths is ideal for cleaning small bathrooms and other tight spots.
- Home Flooring Pros
Its main feature is its controlled water release wringing system which is activated by pressing onto the foot pedal. You can get this on Amazon at a price around $35. Shoppers like this mop because of its ease of use. Simply keep the mop slightly damp so that you can exert more pressure on the floors and pick up the most stubborn stains without creating puddles.

What experts didn't like

Bucket is too large to fit into most kitchen sinks to fill
- BestReviews
The actual construction leaves something to be desired. In addition to being quite small, all the pieces of this mop are made from cheap plastic, calling their durability into question.
- The Spruce
What I’m not crazy about is that there’s not a separate compartment for the dirty water. So, when I do my two-car garage or my dog has a field day at the river and then runs into my house, I have to dump and refill more often than I’d like to or use a separate bucket for clean water.
- Today
This O-Cedar spin mop only includes one cleaning pad. As as bucket mop, the EasyWring needs to be cleaned more often than most other mops.
- Modern Castle
The mop is not heavy duty. Don’t expect this to last ten years like your old fashioned mops. The handle comes in three separate pieces that screw together. The middle and bottom pieces don’t lock together. If you apply pressure on that section while moping, the bottom piece tends to come off.
- Prime Reviews
The mop head itself is a bit small and could make cleaning large floor areas a little frustrating. The bucket has no separation for clean and dirty water so you may have to wring the mop out but keep a sink of fresh water nearby.
- Clean Home Guide
The telescoping handle also raises some concerns. While it’s a great feature being able to adjust it from 33 to 51 inches depending on your height, it could be sturdier. At its highest length, it felt somewhat unsteady.
- Cleanup Expert
Microfiber Mop Head wears out faster than a heavy duty cotton mophead.
- Franklin County Free Press
The wringer is plastic, while other some other spin mops have metal wringers. While fairly durable, they’ve been known to break with typical use.
- Home Flooring Pros
At some point, they’ll need replacing, but you’ll have to make sure they’re cleaned once you’re done using it (especially if you completed a heavy cleaning job). If you don’t, mildew can infect the mop head and is the main reason why people have to replace them often.

An Overview On Microfiber Mops

The state of Connecticut issued a cleaning manual for its schools, and in that manual, it lists microfiber mops as an essential tool in capturing microbes and organic matter to prevent infections. In fact, the state reported that microfiber mops are able to capture 99% of bacteria. Microfiber mops aren’t just made for industrial use. You can also purchase them to clean your home or office space.

As you begin your search, look at the microfiber mop’s overall construction. You want a base unit that is going to stand the test of time. The Microfiber Wholesale Professional Adjustable Microfiber Mop is an excellent choice, as it uses a heavy-duty aluminum frame and a stainless-steel handle. Other models are partially made using an ABS plastic.

Next, you want to make sure you can adjust the microfiber mop’s handle to match your height. For example, the HOMTOYOU Microfiber Hardwood Floor Mop, 4-Pads comes with four poles, so you can add as many poles to the handle as you need to use the mop comfortably. The maximum length of this particular mop is 59 inches, which is long enough to use the mop to reach high corners and get all the way under a living room sofa and dining room table.

Examine the head of the microfiber mop to make sure it is absorbent. The O-Cedar Dual-Action Microfiber Flip Mop has a double-sided mop head. One side is made from an ultra-dense chenille that is best used for dusting. The other side uses microfiber scrubbing strips to safely lift away stubborn dirt and debris. You can use the head dry or spritz a little water on the floor to use it wet.

Lastly, look for anything extra that the microfiber mop may have to offer. Some brands provide additional microfiber cleaning cloths with their mops. The MR.SIGA Professional Microfiber Mop comes with a handy dirt-removal scrubber. The tip of the scrubber can be used to chip away at debris that is stuck to your floor, while the bottom of the scrubber scrapes the trapped dirt off the mop head and into the trash can.

The Microfiber Mop Buying Guide

  • Some microfiber mops might come with user manuals that are a bit difficult to understand. If you have any trouble trying to assemble or operate your mop, you can contact the company’s customer service number or check YouTube for a visual presentation of how to use the mop.
  • Microfiber mops are made to be machine washable, but you shouldn’t place them in the dryer once they have been cleaned. Instead, you can lay them flat on a piece of newspaper or hang them outside from a clothesline.
  • Never use bleach or fabric softener when washing microfiber mop heads. If the mop head uses Velcro, you’ll also need to make sure it is attached before you toss it in the washing machine.
  • Some microfiber mop heads can be reused as many as 100 times. As a general rule of thumb, it’s best to change the head every three to six months, depending on how often you clean your floors.
  • Make sure the microfiber mop is designed for your specific floor type. Some models are only listed as safe on hardwood, tile and laminate flooring, while others can also be used on concrete, stone and vinyl.
  • You can use a microfiber mop on your walls, as well as your floors.
  • You’ll find microfiber mops come in a wide range of prices. Variables that affect the price include the size of the mop head, construction materials, number of mop refills and any extra features. You’ll find the O-Cedar Dual-Action Microfiber Flip Mop is the most affordable of the bunch with the MR.SIGA Professional Microfiber Mop and the HOMTOYOU Microfiber Hardwood Floor Mop, 4-Pads coming in at a more moderate price. You’ll pay the most for the Microfiber Wholesale Professional Adjustable Microfiber Mop, as it comes with a large mop head and two bonus cleaning cloths.
