Expert Reviews

What reviewers liked

Very adjustable, huge field of pleasing light, built like a tank - and that means will last for a long time.
If you want the closest thing to an “official” SAD lamp, this is your best bet
It has stands for vertical setups. It makes no hum noise, has no flicker and is made in Canada in line with strict safety guidelines.
This light is designed for simple treatment and little more, with a rather basic features list of three tilt adjustments and five elevation settings to alter the direction of the light and a UV filter, but it does come recommended by doctors, which is part of the reason for its success.

What reviewers didn't like

Expensive and large - not very portable.
At almost double the price of the Carex, it’s hard to recommend this one if cost is an issue
It also has a larger footprint than some users would like and certainly needs to be planned for because even though it is light enough to be taken around the house and tried in different places, it doesn’t sit on a dressing table or desk as easily as some other models.
