Expert Reviews

What reviewers liked

The Nighthawk app is an excellent addition. It allows for easy setup, and the USB port is a great feature. The security features are effective, including the VPN and separate guest network. Add to that the beamforming technology and powerful WiFi 6 signal, and the RAX15 truly delivers.
The Netgear 4-Stream WiFi 6 Router is one of the first and most balanced entry-level Wi-Fi 6 routers. That breaks down to 1200Mbps at 5GHz and 600Mbps at 2.4GHz. Some modern comforts include WPA 3 security, easy app setup, and 1,500 sq ft of coverage.
With speeds up to AX1800, with a few users, you should be able to browse and stream. You get a sensible amount of wired Ethernet ports with four and a USB port. To get your portable devices online with enough speed for most normal usage, the Netgear RAX15 is excellent.
This NETGEAR multi-stream router is super fast and supports dual-bands with long-range coverage for both 2.4 GHz and 5GHz networks. Furthermore, this offers fast AX1800 speeds (not AC1800). You’ll get beamforming support, quality-of-service to totally control your network, Alexa support, intuitive parent controls, and 600 + 1,200 Mbps speeds.

What reviewers didn't like

Brick walls and other solid obstructions will limit your signal quality. Why have a power button if there’s already a reset button? We’re honestly not sure. But this is a minor complaint.
This is one of Netgear's cheapest Wi-Fi 6 routers. Slower speeds than competition.
Only AX1800 speeds.
