Expert Reviews

What experts liked

One of the easiest weather stations to use and install, the Netatmo also has affordable add-on modules to give you a reliable and accurate overview of your local weather trends.
The temperature sensor is very accurate and never drifted more than two degrees from our NWS station about five miles away.
The modules are small in size and don’t take much space, unlike other personal weather stations that require ample space for the console.
The Netatmo has many extras such as air quality and sound meter sensors. It’s also very simple to setup on your smart devices and to install physically.

What experts didn't like

One tiny pet peeve with the app is in the rain gauge measurements: While it will give you rain rate and daily accumulation, it does not provide a monthly or yearly total.
The most important disadvantage of the Netatmo weather station is that the device is not recommended to be directly exposed to sunlight, due to the lack of the protective shield.
Unfortunately, if you’re looking specifically for a weather station for outdoor weather data, this model will require you to purchase some extras such as a wind and rain guage.
