These can cause blisters and irritation if you get the wrong size.

However, it requires breaking-in.
There are no straps or laces, so they’re not made for swimming.
Sizing is a bit hard to get right
Keep in mind that rubber can cause chafing against your child’s feet. The heel in particular doesn’t add any fabric material to keep your child’s feet from rubbing, so you shouldn’t expect them to walk particularly far in these shoes. The shoes can also be slightly hard to get on and off since there is no closure system, and the rubber isn’t overly elastic.
It can lead to formation blisters if you choose the wrong size.
Might be too tight on some feet. May need to order next size up for a better fit.
Some parents complained of perforated pattern marks on their kid's skin.
Because of the slip on style and lack of adjustment strap, they are not the best water shoe or swimming shoe option for toddlers and kids with wide feet.
For obvious reasons, it cannot be used during winter. Also, might be narrow for wide footed kids.
Some reviewers stated they were too tight for chubby baby feet.
The size might be a challenge because they are 1/2 sizes bigger. It might not fit your kid immediately. You should give it some time for the feet to grow.
