Expert Reviews

What reviewers liked

Very comfortable and offers almost unrestricted movement.
What makes this product stand out is its bi-lateral geared polycentric hinges that guarantee maximum stability and mobility at the same time.
This brings out the perfect comfort while you are moving around.
In addition to the compression supplied by sleeves, braces like the McDavid 429X provide excellent stability needed for athletes recovering from serious knee injuries such as ACL or MCL tears.
It gives your knee solace as it recovers from any injury.
Extremely well made it has very strong stitching used throughout and bound edges that allow for minimized irritation on the user skin.
This provides excellent support and protection and can be great sources of stability for athletes recovering from knee injuries such as MCL or ACL ligament tears.

What reviewers didn't like

Closed design can make it uncomfortably hot to wear in warmer weather.
Quite pricey
It hard to put on
Compared to sleeves, the McDavid 429X brace is a lot bulkier, but if you are rehabbing from a serious injury, the added protection is absolutely worth the slightly decreased mobility!
Seems a little bulky.
