Expert Reviews

What reviewers liked

Light weight and easy to use, it looks great too! Buy an extra base if you have 2 cars.
The premium fabrics on these seats are self-wicking, which is supposed to draw liquids away from the skin to help sweaty (or pee-soaked) babies stay dry, so people in warmer climates tend to like this seat.
Weighing in at 8.9lbs, this is one of the lighter car seats.
Air Protect side impact protection, four harness heights, deep side wings. Excellent stroller compatibility.
LATCH installation, Cozi-Dozi infant pillow, contoured carry handle, and machine-washable, self-wicking fabrics.
Cleaning time? No problem. The seat’s pads are removed in a matter of seconds (Yes! There’s no frustrating rethreading required) and the seat’s fabrics are both machine washable and dryer safe.

What reviewers didn't like

The straps somehow tangle every time we use it and it felt like I had to squeeze my baby into it by 6 months.
A potential downside: while this seat may seem petite, it’s actually quite long when installed in the back seat, so I don’t recommend it for compact cars.
The canopy on Maxi Cosi seats tends to sag and many people find that it doesn’t pull nearly as taught as it does in photos they’ve seen of the product on Maxi Cosi’s website. It is also not super large.
Canopy doesn’t stay up, pricey for a rather plain seat.
This basic Mico version doesn’t have all of the bells and whistles that the newer Mico Max has.
