The G602 is a right-handed mouse, with a sculpted ergonomic design, complete with a jutting wing for you to support the thumb. On the left side, handily accessible by the thumb, are six programmable buttons, ideal for macros and keybinds used during MMORPGs and similar games.
The G602 is a right-handed mouse, and is most comfortable when used with a palm-grip. A thumb-rest juts out from the side for added support and ribbed rubber improves grip when your palms get sweaty. The curvature of the mouse feels natural, and we’re happy to say this is one of the most comfortable designs we’ve ever used.
Logitech claims that the G602 lasts for 240 hours on Performance mode, while Endurance mode will keep the device running for a far lengthier 1,440 hours. This is a nifty inclusion for saving battery life when not gaming, and we noticed more accurate button response and tighter overall sensitivity when switching from Endurance to Performance.
Programmable buttons are a standard feature in a gaming mouse. The G602 comes with six such buttons located to the thumb-side of the mouse, just slightly above the thumb rest. The buttons are raised for easy differentiation. It has added two buttons at the front and of the mouse, besides the two standard ones. The buttons are easily accessible by the index finger and are used to switch DPI on and off while on the heat of the game.

What reviewers didn't like
No wired or rechargeable option. Software is Windows only.
Low max DPI and it lacks bells and whistles
The software, at the time of writing, was only available to Windows users. Consequently, Mac players cannot get any good out of this gaming mouse until Logitech builds a version for their operating system.
However, the batteries weigh a lot and theres no real macro capability.
Top side buttons are uncomfortable to reach and place a little too high for the thumb. Button action can fail after a year or so of constant use. Some aren't happy with the programming limitations. Heavy and bulky.
