What reviewers liked
It can be used on the hob, in the oven, or even on an outdoor fire. Sears meat and seafood very well. It takes a good while to heat. It comes pre-seasoned and ready to use. However, extra seasoning is recommended to obtain a better nonstick surface.

The handle gets very hot: since it gets very hot after cooking, people have recommended to always use a potholder to grab the handle. Extra care: Cast iron pans need particular care to avoid rust. Some users don’t like to consider so many things when it comes to extending the life of it. After washing it by hand with mild soap or none at all, you should dry it promptly and thoroughly with a lint-free cloth or paper towel and then, Rub with a very light layer of vegetable oil, preferably while the cookware is still warm.
