Expert Reviews

What reviewers liked

The LifeSpan TR1200-DT5 Treadmill Desk is super-easy to assemble. It essentially comes pretty much in assembled form when delivered to your home or office. You can be easily walking within half an hour after its delivery.
Is incredibly large, attractive, and has a number of useful features that make it extremely user-friendly.
It provides you with the facility to work while you walk or jog. While you walk to keep your body in a good shape to be healthy, you can keep operating on your computer or any other device.
The TR1200-DT is a solidly made machine consisting of a desktop apparatus that comes separate from the treadmill itself.
This is a quiet treadmill where if you’re on the phone, whoever you’re talking to won’t be able to hear you, especially at the lower speeds.

What reviewers didn't like

While the LifeSpan TR1200-DT5 Treadmill Desk is well-built and durable, it is important to mention that the safety guard rails are made of plastic. This is the standard option, but you can upgrade to metal rails for a more modern look that offers slightly more durability.
Quite investment, but if you want to make a radical shift away from your sedentary workday, this is the desk for you.
It does not come assembled. Comes in five different pieces. It can be a bit tiring because some of the parts are made of heavy metal. This process may require two people because the parts that need to be moved are too heavy for one person.
Another issue with the TR1200-DT in particular is the height-adjustment mechanism. There's really no practical way to adjust the height of the desk by yourself; it's a two-person job nearly every time you want to make an adjustment.
When you need to adjust the height of the desktop, you have to do it manually. If you’re the only one using the treadmill, and you only use it for walking, this shouldn’t be an issue. But if you plan on using the treadmill for sitting or leaning as well, it’s a little annoying to adjust the height, and it’s easiest to have two people to do it. If not your stuff may fall off of the desktop.
