What reviewers liked

The steel filter is too porous and does let a lot of sediment through, but KitchenAid smartly has a textured bottom that lets the grit settle on the sides of the bottom. It doesn't seem to come through the spigot, so after my first gritty glass, the coffee was a lot smoother, and quite rich.

If you have a more fluid budget and the space to accommodate it, our tip for the best cold brew coffee maker on a grander scale is this beast from KitchenAid finished in a brushed stainless steel. While the picture shows what looks like a bulky unit, this coffee maker is expressly designed to fit inside a regular refrigerator. It even has an integrated tap so you can draw yourself off a coffee straight from the fridge without needing to move it onto the counter.
It features a stout, rectangular footprint that’s perfect for all kinds of refrigerators and counters. The wide-grip handle folds down when not in use, so you could easily bring it with you on a picnic or to work.

Here the small footprint makes it an ideal choice for kitchen counters and refrigerators. You can set the machine anywhere without wasting any space. Not many of such units fit within a fridge, and this is one of them. If you are looking out for a compact yet effective solution for your Cold Brew cravings, then this is your choice!
It has a built-in stainless steel tap, so you can pour your coffee directly from the fridge without taking the coffee maker out.
For one thing, this KitchenAid gem holds more cold brew servings than any other cold brew maker on our list. You can make up to 14 cups of coffee at once in this thing, which is a game-changer for households with more than one cold-brew drinker, or just for people that like to brew less frequently. If you stick to one cup of cold brew each day, you'll be set for two weeks before you have to brew again.
Reviewers say the KitchenAid Cold Brew Coffee Maker makes great coffee and is perfect for when you’re having guests over. While this product is more expensive than many comparable cold brew machines, it’s worth the price if you drink a lot of coffee or frequently host parties.

The great thing about this stainless steel cold brew coffee maker is that, after you brew your coffee, you can pop it into the fridge and the convenient spout lets you pour a cup in seconds — no need to fuss with an additional pitcher.

I am generally a supporter of the way KitchenAid designs its coffee makers. That stays true for the KitchenAid Cold Brew Coffee Maker KCM4212SX as well. Clean curves on the glass matched with a brushed stainless steel exterior give this cold brew coffee maker an excellent look. It is comfortable in its own form, rather than following the french press style looks so common with cold brew coffee makers. The overall design is sturdy and durable.
The beautiful streamlined design of the coffee maker with glass and stainless steel components to preserve taste, for easy use and cleaning.
We found it beautifully simple to use and is a very well-made brewer. The material quality and brew it delivers is superb.
If you love coffee do yourself a favor and purchase the KitchenAid cold brew. It gets a thumbs up from us here at Bean Ground for its impeccable build quality, ease of use and better-than-average filtration. Sure it’s not the cheapest but by the time you’ve costed out the expensive trips to those trendy cafés, the KitchenAid will pay for itself in no time at all.

What reviewers didn't like

Few users have reported the spigot leaking.

Now the issue with this unit is related to the connections on it. Before you start the coffee brewing and related works, check on all the joints and the elements connected on here. One issue related to the loosening of the handle was found. Thus, do a double check on all the parts as a preventive measure.
A bulkier unit than manual cold brew models so make sure you have the space to accommodate either in the fridge or on the counter.
-
Does not filter properly. Doesn’t shave any time off of DIY methods, steep time is around 12-24 hours. May leak over time.
Tap dispenser has a small risk of dripping.
However, is it anything special? Could we make the exact same concentrated cold brew with a French press filled with grinds and water then placed in the fridge for a fraction of the cost? The answer is yes.
One minor gripe is that the coffee dispenser is pretty slow at pouring out coffee. Another issue for some might be the awkward presence in the refrigerator, if you have a small fridge it will take up a lot of space.
-
May not hold 1.25 liters of water. Not airtight.
The filter sysytem doesn't work properly. Some people report leakage.
Imposing, possibly awkward presence in the refrigerator. Pours slowly from the dispenser.
Can’t store much coffee because it leaks, even within 24 hours.
Lacks durability.
This model may not be suitable for customers who are looking to save money on their cold brew coffee maker.
People who want an American-made product would be disappointed to know that this is made in China.
