What reviewers liked

Other Products We Considered.
This little switcher is packed with features. It displays up to 4K at 60Hz, can output from up to five devices, and has automatic switching. The only downside is that this switch does not have an HDMI splitter built in, meaning that you will have to use a 3rd party solution to reroute audio if your sound system is separate from your viewing device.
A great option if you absolutely need that 5th port.
It’s a breeze to sneak the 550BN in with your existing components without creating wire clutter. Best of all, there’s no need to factor in where to run a power cable, as the switcher itself runs off a lithium-ion battery (included).
This model is more advanced from earlier models of KINIVO as it has 60Hz frequency with 18GBPS data transfer rate instead of previous 30Hz model, this ensures no lag is between your input HDMI device and output streaming HDTV.
You are getting 5 inputs all supporting 4K up to 60Hz, as well as a small and compact look that makes this HDMI switch one of the best. You don’t have to worry about plugging your HDMI cables and not having this work because that does not happen with this switch, at all.
The video and audio quality of this switch are amazing thereby, allowing you to have a good experience. You can do the switching manually using a remote control. It also comes with a warranty of 2 years.

What reviewers didn't like

If you only need three or four inputs, however, it is worth looking at the competition, which is often cheaper and in some cases more fully featured.
The main downside of the Kinivo 501BN is its price. Yes, you get an extra port over the avedio links switch, but you’ll have to pay double for the extra port.
Some users have reported the switcher being a bit finicky with certain components.
Remote is short-range, works only in front of the switch.
This is by no means a looker. The switch is oddly bad at managing cables.
The switch keeps shuffling between different inputs after a while.
