No Backlight: The display doesn’t come with a backlight. So it’s hard to read in a dark room.
If you’re using the ear mode, be sure to pull your little one’s ear back and up and aim gently at the eardrum area—it’ll make for a much more accurate reading.
The high fever alert cannot be switch off when fever is detected

Though this thermometer can be used for all ages, it cannot be used rectally, which is the most accurate method if your baby if younger than three months.
This is one of the more expensive options available.

The only factor that I believe makes it the 2nd best forehead and ear thermometer, is that it might not be as reliable as the Innovo, as some users have found a slight retardation in its working between two consecutive readings.
One issue with this thermometer and others like it is that there’s no option for a silent mode when using it.
