Expert Reviews

What reviewers liked

Wipes use a hypoallergenic design that has both aloe and vitamin E for natural protection.
Two of our moms said these were their go-to wipes, and they loved them. They are thick, durable, soft, and the moms reported no issues with diaper rash. They are a bit less oily than the Pampers, they don't leave the same slight film on your hands, which is good. The texture of the wipes is soft with some imprinted letter H texture; they are so soft and moist that we sometimes found them a little bit "mushy" when dealing with.
They are available in different packaging styles like disposable soft packs, nursery tubs, clutch style and refill packs and boxes.
Soft and Grippy: Super soft wipes with grip to help get bums (and faces and hands and other things) clean.
The wipes are fragrance free, alcohol free, parabens free, phenoxyethanol free and MIT free.
They are easy to dispense even with one hand. The wipes are pH balanced.
Made of 99 percent triple-filtered water, reviewers note that the wipes are gentle enough for newborns, but also are hearty enough to use on toddlers.
Cleans your baby’s skin gently, but effectively with a combination of chemical-free ingredients. Three pack comes with over 600 individual wipes. Refillable to save time and money.
There isn’t a strong smell, even without added fragrances, which is beneficial for both you and your little one. The wipe packages have EZ Pull Dispensing to help pull out just one wipe at a time when you need them.
Gentle – Most reviewers felt like these wipes were great for their babies that were prone to diaper rash or otherwise had sensitive skin. A lack of alcohol was mentioned frequently.
They are really thick and ultra-absorbent so nothing nasty will seep through on to your hands.
Effortless to open with one hand.
We highly recommend these wipes for babies with sensitive skin and they are also really affordable. The 99% water make up will also aid in restoring the natural pH level, while the vitamin E will protect the skin from scathing and helps strengthen the skin.

What reviewers didn't like

May not clean as well as other wipes. Seems to dry out fast.
One big difference 2 of the 5 moms noticed was the smell. Though they are fragrance-free, there is a faint odor that 2 moms mentioned as a negative; the other 3 didn't notice it. The odor is a bit of a chemical smell, though we have found them generally very sensitive on bums.
Some customers did not find the baby wipes as durable as the company claims.
Greenwashing: There's nothing particularly “natural” about these wipes, which contain several skin-irritating ingredients. They are not made with any special “green” ingredients, nor are they compostable (and therefore they go to landfill where they will not decompose).
The wipes come in bulk resealable and not in smaller and convenient packages.
The wipes are a tad harder to pull out of the soft packs as the number of sheets is reduced, but you can counter this by buying the Huggies tub and using the refill packs to stock your tub.
These medium-thick, relatively soft wipes feel like they could tear at any minute. They’re champion wipers, but if you’re looking for truly natural wipes, these don’t really fit the bill.
Refills don’t have a sealing option, so don’t lose the original packaging with the close top.
The wipes themselves are relatively small, so you might be using more than one or even two at a time to get the job done. When being pulled out of containers, the Huggies wipes tend to tear or rip more easily. For some, the wipes might be almost too wet each time you pull a new one from the package.
Several reviewers noted that their wipes were either drier than normal out of the package or that the giant refill bags forced you to have a plan to use/store the wipes so they didn’t dry out to quickly.
Tend to tear if pulled too hard.
