What experts liked
Has Wifi and mobile capabilities and a smaller design than costlier models on our list.
- BestReviews
The OfficeJet 4650 delivered very high image quality across the board.

It prints Very Good graphics and photos, CR's tests found, but text quality is just average.
- Consumer Reports
The HP OfficeJet 4650 All-in-One Printer ($99.99) is a light-duty inkjet multifunction printer (MFP) with office-centric features that include faxing and an automatic document feeder (ADF).

Excellent HP printer that is easy to set up and easy to work with, Instant Ink service means that you never have to worry about running out of ink and buying expensive replacement cartridges again.
- Tech Spot
Although there are very few highlights designed to pull your attention away from the front of the printer, the one thing that does stand out is the high-resolution LCD.
- Nerd Tech

The OfficeJet is also cost-friendly, so you won’t spend a large amount of money for refilling and stuff like due to its Thermal Inkjet Technology.
- 10 Best Ones
One of the things I really like about it is that the display is a touchscreen — not only does it make the printer look sleek, it also means that there is no guesswork when trying to enter WiFi network passwords like I had to deal with on the Canon this printer replaced.

What experts didn't like
It's as slow as Envy 4520, but its price is a bit higher.
- BestReviews
But slow graphics printing, a pokey automatic document feeder and sluggish two-sided printing limit its usefulness to low-volume office settings where time isn't of the essence.

Unfortunately, it costs more than 7 cents to print a page of black text—that's higher than average—and these costs are magnified, because the printer uses quite a bit of extra ink in maintenance.
- Consumer Reports
The printer doesn't include Ethernet as a connection choice.
- PC Magazine

Color photo and back & white text page printing speeds seem average to slow; If you don't do many prints a month, even the lowest HP Instant Ink Service plan will seem expensive
- Tech Spot
The only issue we had with the printer was its slow speed at higher quality settings.
- Nerd Tech

However, I want to mention that for a single text page to be printed, it takes about 15 seconds if you’re doing it from a computer, and about 24 seconds from your smartphone.
