The HP Chromebook 11 G4 offers clear advantages in quality and performance over other small Chromebooks we’ve tested. It doesn’t matter that it’s designed for students—anyone who’s made a commitment to the Chrome ecosystem will appreciate this sturdy and affordable laptop.

Chrome OS is great for casual multi-user home use: there are no files, really, to accidentally erase, and a guest-only mode sets up safe and separate browsing.
There’s more space around the keyboard and a larger palm rest, but it definitely looks nicer from the outside than it does from the inside.
