Expert Reviews

What reviewers liked

The filter lid is perfect for pouring water or keeping the ice cubes, sliced fruit, tea bags inside the beverage pitcher, and durable as it is made of stainless steel.
This multitasking glass iced tea pitcher is roomy, attractive, lightweight, and easy to clean. Unlike the pear-shaped glass pitchers we tested, its cylindrical shape gives it a sturdy feel and better center of gravity when carrying it or storing it in the fridge. A big bonus for the Hiware 68 is that it can go directly on the stovetop—convenient for brewing right in the pitcher. Amazingly, the glass handle stayed cool to the touch even while the water boiled inside (which was not the case for the two other stove-safe glass pitchers we tested).
This is a safe and durbale product with an eye-popping design.
The airtight lid is made up of stainless steel, the construction of this sturdy glass pitcher is perfect for pouring water or keeping the ice cubes, sliced fruit, tea bags inside the beverage pitcher.
In addition to durability, practicality is the second feature that sets Hiware 64 Ounces apart from other similar products. A stainless steel filter is added to the lid, which keeps tea leaves, fruit slices, ice-cubes, or any other items you have in your beverage, within the jug as you pour your drink. And its spout is spill-free, along with an elegantly placed handle that provides an ergonomic grip.

What reviewers didn't like

The big size which might not fit into a small space. The pitcher spout tends to dribble after finishing pouring.
One potential downside: The lid has no silicone ring and is not meant to be airtight. So those who are rough on their pitchers will find that it leaks big-time if tipped.
Filter on stainless steel lid is hard to clean.
Filter on the stainless steel lid is hard to clean.
A slight drawback to the product’s design is the tiny metal nut that attaches the filter to the lid and comes loose upon excessive cleaning, rendering the filter almost useless. Soft handling is a pre-requisite here.
