Made by Haier, this wine cooler makes use of a standalone design to offer one of the best examples on the market. This unit is vibration-free, meaning that you’ll be able to cool different bottles without either upsetting them or your guests with loud and disruptive vibrations, the result of “Ultra Quiet Thermal Electric Cooling” design. This is a cooler that serves whites and reds equally well, and the elegant curved door and smoked glass front make this a highly stylish option.

The Haier 12 bottle dual zone wine cellar has an upper zone temperature range of 46°F to 66°F and a lower zone of 54°F to 66°F. Although this has ultra-quiet thermal electric cooling, some users report that it is quite noisy, so you may need to consider where you will be locating the cooler in the home. The cabinet has a black trim and the dual pane insulated glass door is smoked glass. The chrome shelves are pull out and it has interior soft LED lighting. Controlled by dual touch screen displays, it also comes with a one year limited warranty.
Provides soft interior lighting. Comes with nice LED electronic control display. Compact design. Great build quality. Extremely energy efficient.
When our friend opened up her huge birthday box she mentioned that she thought it was incredibly generous and must have cost a fortune. I’m just thankful that she has no idea exactly how well priced it was! Whether this is something you plan to give to yourself or someone else (or even something you intend to put on your own Christmas or birthday list) it is bound to impress, especially for its price.
You can expect that this is the smallest as well as the most affordable wine cooler in the list. Despite its low price, this wine cooler actually has some of the essential features that you would also get from other high-end models. For one, it uses a thermoelectric cooling technology which does not use any refrigerants and will, therefore, not require too much maintenance. Since this technology also does not use a compressor, the cooler produces minimal vibration and noise. Also, the wine cooler has dual touch screen controls that have two LED displays allowing you to control the temperature inside the cooler independently. The upper compartment has a temperature range of 46 to 66 degrees Fahrenheit while the lower chamber has a temperature range of 54 to 66 degrees Fahrenheit.
The Haier HVTM12DABB is a very compact, free-standing dual zone thermoelectric wine cooler that is designed to keep both red and white wines at optimal storage and serving temperatures. This model has a 12-bottle capacity (based on standard 750 ml. bottles), with the upper zone designed for reds and the lower zone perfect for chilling whites. Both zones have independent electronic temperature controls with an attractive touch panel interface and temperature display. Users can adjust temperature between 45 and 54 degrees Fahrenheit in the upper compartment, and between 52 and 64 degrees Fahrenheit in the lower zone. The door is composed of a double pane, tinted glass material that helps maintain stable temperatures as well as filtering harmful UV light.
Each temperature zone / cooling compartment has its own independent LED display and electronically controlled input. The unit’s thermoelectric-based cooling system minimizes vibrations and also ensures the unit’s silent operation. Internal temperature maintains form very well, contributed to by a combination of the cooler’s efficiency, the door’s insulation, and the tinted glass on the door.
Keep more than a few of your favorite bottles of red and white wine at the perfect temperature with this 12-Bottle Capacity Dual Zone Wine Cellar. The upper compartment temperature range is ideal for red wine, while the lower compartment chills white wine beautifully. Each storage compartment features its own separate Electronic Temperature Control and LED Display.
Quiet operation with no vibration or unnecessary noise output. Holds temperature well, which is helped by the smoked glass of the door. Removable chrome shelves that each hold 2 bottles. Dual zone temperature control so you can keep different wines stored at different temperatures inside the same unit.
A sturdy, modern, freestanding cooler with dual-zone thermoelectric temperature controls and an LED display, plus double-pane glass doors for maximum energy efficiency. The upper compartment is perfect for red wine while the lower compartment chills white wine beautifully. Finished in sleek black for the 12-bottle version.
The thermoelectric cooling system is very consistent, which means the results are good even if you wind up blocking the venting mechanisms by having the unit right up against the wall. For best results, we’ve found that it is necessary to have about 2 inches of space between the back of this wine chiller and the wall so that the cooling feeds work as they are intended. With less than 1 inch of clearance, you’ll find that the temperature on the inside of the unit may rise by 7-10 degrees.
The Haier 12-Bottle Dual Zone Thermoelectric Wine Cooler with Smoked Glass door (view on Amazon) is quiet and vibration-free due to its thermoelectric cooling. It can accommodate 12 standard wine bottles on 6 metal shelves. It has a great design with a black cabinet, chrome racks and a dark, smoked glass door. It has dual digital temperature controls. This model does not have a lock. If you are looking for a compact, dual-zone thermoelectric wine cooler for a smaller living space, the Haier 12-Bottle Dual Zone Curved Door with Smoked Glass Wine Cooler is a great choice.
Easy to install. Beautiful black finish. Available in different sizes. Holds great temperature. Dual zone lower zone 46-66 degrees upper zone 54-66. Good for red or white wine. Does not take up much room and very easy to move around if needed.
Suitable for placing in almost any countertop. One of the cheapest dual zones wine cooler present on the market. Quitter performance, due to the thermoelectric cooling technology. Comprises of curved glass dual paned door and an in-built LED light for better visibility inside.
Its greatest feature is is dual temperature zones. Now you can store both your red and white wines at the same time. Each zone is independent of each other. The upper compartment adjusts between 46-66F while the lower compartment adjust between 54-66F.
The first thing you will notice is that this Haier wine fridge has a very sleek and stylish look. The cooler is black with a nice curved, tinted glass door. You can see two cool blue led temperature displays through the door that control the temperature of the upper and lower wine racks. It is an impressive looking cooler that you will want out on display for others to admire.

What experts didn't like

Can hear fan in a calm room, otherwise quiet. Performance is affected by ambient temperatures.
- Zentiz
The only downside is that it has significantly less storage capacity compared to the other wine fridges.
-
The cooler may be noisier than expected at times. There is a risk of cosmetic damage on arrival.
Audible (though not loud) fan noise.
Irreversible door design. Racks cannot be slid off.
The most common was complaints of noise; however, due to the overwhelming number of reviewers that stated that this cooler operated almost silently, we think these complaints came from people with defective units. Some reviewers also complained that it could not hold 12 non-standard sized bottles. This is a very typical gripe levied at virtually all wine coolers to some degree – always remember capacity ratings are for standard 750 ml. bottles only!
This wine cooler seems to be fragile and very susceptible to in-transit / shipping handling; sometimes the handling damage isn’t immediately obvious or visible, only manifesting anywhere from 2-12 months after first use – protective packaging and careful shipping is IMPORTANT. The door only opens to the right and doesn’t appear to be interchangeable, so this limits some display locations.
Noise is comparable with a running desktop computer or a little louder. The internal temperature depends on the room ambiance, wine cooler should not be placed in a garage or other uninsulated area.
Bottles taller than 13” will not allow the door to close and 1.5L bottles are too big for the shelves. Sensitive to ambient room temperature, which is generally the case with all thermoelectric wine coolers. Internal light does not illuminate the lower section thanks to a metal separator, which is required for the dual zone temperature control.
One of the issues we’ve found when examining wine chillers is that many of them have cooling units which cause a slight vibration. Think about when your refrigerator kicks in and how you can feel the motor running with your hand on the door and you’ll get an idea of what many wine coolers do. That’s bad news because the vibrations can alter the wine, even potentially causing it to spoil. The Haier 12 bottle wine chiller is one of the few that offers a vibration-free experience.
The double paned glass can lose it’s seal if the cooler is moved too many times and this can cause water condensing inside the glass. The footing base of the cooler can cause some wobble if your floors are not perfectly balanced and can take some time to adjust properly. The Shelves can be removed but not adjusted.
The glass door is hinged only on the right side, hence limiting the storage in the countertop. Though the steel shelves can be pulled out but they don’t slide out.
