Great Value 2-Ply Absorbent Paper Towels

Last updated: March 22, 2023

Great Value Paper Towels don’t leave any lint behind, so they are perfect for cleaning glass and windows. However, they aren't the most durable option. As a result, it's best to avoid using them to scrub hard-to-clean messes, such as those on a cast iron pan.

We looked at the top Paper Towels and dug through the reviews from some of the most popular review sites. Through this analysis, we've determined the best Paper Towel you should buy.

Expert Reviews

What reviewers liked

Great Value paper towels were a viable contender and are a great option for any Walmart shopper looking to save a buck or two.
We didn't see a lot of lint left behind however, making these a good choice for cleaning windows.
It actually works out to be the cheapest in terms of cost per ounce of liquid absorbed at $.013 per ounce — because a roll of it is larger and cheaper than most other brands.
Each sheet on the long-lasting Great Value Paper Towel Double Rolls delivers the quality and performance you expect from Great Value paper towels.

What reviewers didn't like

In our one-wipe test, they were comparable with our top pick, but fell apart when we used them on the cast-iron skillet, leaving white residue all over.
They were also not among the strongest sheets in our sample, meaning you may not hold up to tough wet cleaning tasks.
Scott and Great Value are thinner than the other brands and, therefore, absorbed less of the glass cleaner.
