Expert Reviews

What reviewers liked

This GE cord is available in black and white. Braided nylon cord casing looks great while being durable enough to avoid tangles and wear, even with frequent use. Many extension cords do not double as surge protectors, but this one does, so users can plug in high power devices like computers and televisions. Cord is longer and more durable than most surge protectors, meaning those devices can be plugged into outlets that are harder to reach without sacrificing safety.
The braided cord has a heathered design that makes it more aesthetically pleasing than traditional power cords.
-
This three-outlet cord supports multiple devices plugged in at once. And it has both surge protection and a braided, non-tangle cord, which are great safety features when using an extension cord indoors.
You could easily use this surge protector to gain access to your hidden outlets or to add some outlets for the modem and router you’ve strategically tucked behind your couch.
The advantage of having a braided cord is that it is tangle-free. Thus, you will not have to spend a lot of time untangling the cords.

What reviewers didn't like

Outlets are spaced more closely than on some surge protectors, which may cause a space issue for users with multiple power cords with large heads.
No on/off switch or LED indicator.
-
This extension cord doesn't support a lot of power and isn't insulated for outdoor use. Because of this, don't use this cord for power tools, or even for using electronic devices outdoors.
The spacing of the outlets is too close together
