The ergonomic grip and well featured exterior coating are designed to offer both comfort and environment-repellent qualities. The rubber-armored housing offers top-end durability typically seen in higher-priced units. It’s equipped with a power-saving pulse infrared illuminator and it has one of the largest objective lenses on the market.
- Sport Consumer
With great magnification, ergonomics, and a price that’s tough to beat, this is a great monocular for users looking to experiment with night vision. Users love its range and optical quality. It’s praised as an affordable price for a high quality, fun piece of gear. It uses two AA batteries and is a fun way to get started seeing in the night.

This monocular night vision instrument is very durable. It has a rubberized armor coating on it that will go a long way toward keeping the unit in good shape. It is highly resistant to cracking, warping, puncture, etc. This is obviously a great quality to have in a night vision device that is being used in a hostile environment like the woods foothills and underbrush.
- Point Optics
The infrared illuminator does a good job of making sure that you have the best visibility at all times. The model can offer a range of up to 75 feet without the IR illuminator turned on. Once it is turned on, you can expect even more range.

What experts didn't like
Mono view limits depth perception. Magnification not as strong as many competitors.

The downside to this unit is that the lens is very sensitive to light and is not meant for daytime use without the lens cap. The cap does have a tiny pinhole to allow daytime use, but if too much light comes in (ie. accidentally leave it out in the sun without a cap), you will permanently damage the optics.
- Sport Consumer
Very small percentage of users had issues with black spots.
