As for the design and aesthetic, it has a very simple and minimalist design that focuses much more on clarity, rather than any distinct aesthetic beauty. he new AeraMax air purifiers are the only such devices in Canada which have been scientifically tested and proven to be Asthma & Allergy Friendly. Investing in a quality air purifier is an essential tool for reducing allergens in your home, helping to minimize asthma and allergy symptoms.
Our most favorite extra feature is the Aera+ mode that is designed for use during peak allergy season. It will be very helpful if you or someone in the house has allergies.
In addition to its Allergy and Asthma Friendly certification from the Allergy and Asthma Foundation of America, this product is AHAM and CARB certified. The AeraMax 300 is also UL listed and Energy Star Certified. This is a good mix of commendations, and it’s always important to look at third party research before choosing an air purifier.

However, if you run this air purifier on highest speed, you will experience the power consumption to be 86 watts, which is even higher than the Winix 5500-2 or Honeywell HPA200.
Expensive filters and the need to replace them every six months
The sound it produces during maximum operation can bother some individuals.
Not very effective at removing dust, smoke, and pollen at its lowest speed, which could affect your comfort if you’ll run the unit in your bedroom at night.
One complaint that has been made about the purifier relates to its indicator lights that cannot be turn off. This may be a deal breaker for people who want their room completely black. Complaints have also been made about the HEPA filter which is rather expensive.
Noise. The noise it generates during intense operation can bother some people
However, this unit uses its PlasmaTrue ionizer to charge particles as they exit the purifier, which may be harmful to sensitive lungs. The ionizer cannot be disabled, so we cannot recommend the AeraMax DX95 to individuals with respiratory problems.
Turbo speed setting make a loud noise.
Technical faults in the product interrupt its proper functioning.
Can be quite noisy at maximum fan speed.
A little noisy when set to turbo speed.
Fails to function after four to six months.
Some people may find the blue display light on the top of the unit a little off-putting at bedtime (although a strategically placed piece of coloured tape may remedy this).
It’s a bit pricey.
Replaceable filters add to ongoing cost.
