From The Manufacturer

Faber Castell’s Albrecht Durer Watercolor Pencils are highly versatile with the ability to draw, shade and paint. They have 3.8 mm thick, break-resistant leads that are fully water-soluble, and provide sharp fine lines. The vibrant colors are easily blended when wet and become permanent when dry. On some paper, the pigment will dissolve completely and react as traditional watercolor does. Dip the pencil tip into water and draw for unique lines. This set includes the entire range of 120 colors packaged in a metal tin. Made In Germany.

Expert Reviews

What reviewers liked

The pencil remains in place with the help of the tin within it. Pencils can work effectively when dry.
-
With the ability to completely dissolve when exposed to water, unlike cheaper brands that may leave pigments, these will make your artwork look amazing.
They don’t leave any sort of a pigment behind, and the colors have an uncompromising depth to them and are able to impart a sort of a vibrancy that can make the painting feel alive.
-

What reviewers didn't like

The metallic colors may be poor in design and service.
-
This is expensaive.
But this watercolor pencil range from Faber-Castell is much more expensive and possibly out of reach for a lot of average customers and beginner painters.
