Expert Reviews

What experts liked

The Eufy was pretty reliable when it came to hardwood floors, especially with larger debris. It made quick work of cereal, pet food, and rice, especially in high-power mode.
Powerful and easy to use.
On its maximum setting the HomeVac ran for 22 minutes straight, longer than any other cordless vac we've tested (though short of the advertised 24 minute battery life). When we ramped down the power, this vacuum ran for almost an hour.
The lightweight and quiet Eufy HomeVac has one of the longest runtimes out of the models we tested, but falls a little short when it came to cleaning performance.
It's so lightweight that I don't mind carting it up the stairs to get the other levels.
It is cheap – less than $100.
Battery recharging time only 2 hours.

What experts didn't like

We found the vacuum couldn’t pick up everything in power-saving mode and we had to amp it up to finish the job. We found smaller debris, on both hardwood and carpet, often required several passes to pick up.
Some reports of malfunctions within a few weeks of use.
The Duo picked up the least amount of dirt of any cordless vacuum we've ever tested. In fact it picked up less than a Dirt Devil at one-third the price.
t didn't do as well at cleaning under furniture, only reaching about 9.75" under our simulated sofa — a stark comparison to the 37.5" of the top models.
It will not deep clean carpet.
Rotating brush gets clogged quickly with pets and human hair and needs frequent cleaning.
