About the Startup Describe your product in 3 words. Wireless. Surround. Sound. How did you come up with the idea for this product? While the rest of the consumer audio world was focused on making soundbars and whole house audio solutions, we found it quite discouraging that no one was focused on a single room true 5.1 wireless home theater experience. We believe half of the movie experience is heard and not seen so we took it upon ourselves to build what the market currently did not offer. The end result – an affordable, true 5.1, wireless HD audio surround sound system that you just unbox, plug in, and go. What makes your product special? Our product allows anyone with power outlets in their living room to enjoy a true 5.1 surround sound experience by having 6 independent speaker enclosures surround you with sound wirelessly, but with the simplicity of a sound bar set up. The WiSA Technology used in our system is found in systems that cost 5X – 20X as much, we are passionate about sound and knew that Wifi and Bluetooth audio transmission wasn’t going to cut it. We worked tirelessly to incorporate this new technology, with speakers that were custom tuned to work with eachother at an incredible price. It doesn’t get easier than Enclave’s plug and play setup experience with rock solid sound that packs a punch. What has been the best part of your startup experience? The best part of our startup experience has been building a team with like-minded individuals and working together to bring to reality a product we had in our head, that the market had a need for, and our customers thank us for.

Expert Reviews

What reviewers liked

And since most sound bars have limited abilities when it comes to bass response, a big percentage of those folks buy one that’s pre-paired with a wireless subwoofer.
The Enclave CineHome HD is an easy-to-install "wireless" 5.1 surround speaker system that sounds better than most sound bars. The rear bi-poles are a nice touch. The subwoofer is large and provides the sound with real guts.
-
Beats even the most premium soundbars in creating a surround theater experience.
The mobile app provides access to additional music streaming services, via Bluetooth and when a Chromecast Device plugged into one of the HDMI ports.
The Enclave Audio CineHome HD aims to keep everyone happy, combining the easy setup and simple operation of a soundbar with the true surround performance of a discrete 5.1 speaker package.
One of the things that define this surround system is EASE OF USE (that’s right, all caps). The setup procedure is incredibly simple. It’s practically plug-and-play system.
Extremely easy to use as it is a plug-and-play surround sound system and all speakers will pair with each other automatically
The more good news is that this system is also able to upgrade to the 5.2 channel system.
The quality is crisp and clear and it’s incredibly easy to set up the wireless system.
Music performances from instrumental music and orchestra music sounded very consistent and detailed with a good level of soundstage. You really feel that you are immersed in the sound while listening to music with this setup; the bass response hits hard and feels impactful.
While it is certainly not perfect, this home theater system does provide the user with a lot more input control. Additionally, it is one of the only systems capable of an outdoor theater experience.
The WiFi speakers generate 24 bit HD wireless audio, and promise a 360-degree experience for all your audio. That’s pretty impressive, and it lets you exercise complete freedom as far as moving around goes, and just changing your position.
What is more, keep in mind that these home theater speakers have also got a wireless subwoofer. And as you know, that’s a true guarantee of high-grade bass.
Well, in short, it is truly impressive. The sound is generally clear, accurate, and detailed. Movie dialogs and music vocals are delivered naturally with good clarity, even though there is some steady drop-off at the higher frequencies starting from 12 kHz.
Enclave Audio CineHome HD 5.1 Wireless Audio Home Theater System comes in matte-black color. So it is pretty similar to a standard set of speakers for a home theater that you would find in the market.
A great sub-$1,000 wireless system.
This Enclave audio setup provides the wireless capability you want at a reasonable price. With this set, you don’t need any cables.
Impressive as it seems, apart from the cinematic quality Enclave Audio CineHome HD 5.1 Wireless Audio Home Theater System is offering, it also gives you options on where to use it.

What reviewers didn't like

No support for Dolby TrueHD, DTS-HD Master Audio, Dolby Atmos, or DTS:X
Performance and build quality don't come close to wired systems. We wish the Enclave CineHome HD had tone controls, and adjusting the volume of the subwoofer isn't straightforward.
-
Requires display to be turned on to select audio only inputs like Bluetooth rather than simply toggling through.
Although overall sound quality is good for a home-theater-in-a-box system, high frequencies and transient sounds are a little subdued, compared to the mid-range and bass.
There is one more thing we have to mention. The remote really needs an upgrade. It looks cheap and poorly designed. The buttons are unresponsive. The good news is that Enclave Audio is already working on the upgrade.
The audio is staggering, particularly for movies.
The only downside to this system is that it does not support HDCP 2.2 which may be an issue if you want to stream ultra-high quality video through this system, otherwise you will have to use a workaround.
Enclave Remote Detection is Slow on Detection
High price
However, keep in mind that each speaker requires its own power cord. So, you can say that you are trading speaker wires for power cords.
One of the biggest limitations is that the whole system is limited to HDMI 1.4b and HDCP 1.4.
That being said: we do think that the Axiim system does a much better job in terms of sound quality, and while we are entirely in favor of more and more wireless systems making onto the market, this is very much a budget option, and second fiddle to the ones above it.
On the more expensive side
Difficulties in adjusting and controlling the sound system
