Dyson V7 Cordless Handheld Vacuum Cleaner

Last updated: January 17, 2023

You'll get higher suction with this handheld vacuum than with most other models. That means less work in minimal time. It also runs for 30 full minutes on a full charge, putting its battery power above many other handheld vacuums. In our testing, this vacuum sucked up all the crumbs on our test rug. We were also impressed by its nice aesthetic design.

What reviewers liked

There are two modes: standard, which runs up to 30 minutes on a charge, and turbo, which can power through even chunky debris, but only runs for about 10 minutes.
It sucked up heavier, larger debris, such as leaves or pebbles, that most handhelds couldn’t touch.
Though it’s small, it delivers powerful suction to remove dirt and debris from cracks and crevices.
The mini motorized tool helped power through stains on upholstery; it was the tool we turned to the most.
Battery life is up to 30 minutes of low-power cleaning, or seven minutes at full power—which we used for testing.
The long bristles on the brush attachment also make it super easy to clean small little ledges and tight corners.
This powerful vacuum has a V7 motor and provides up to 30 minutes of fade-free suction.

What reviewers didn't like

It's pricey
This model is a very expensive vacuum, and probably overkill for most people
It has a long charge time and short run time.
We weren’t happy with how long it took to charge up the battery once it died completely
We understand a $239 price tag is a little hard to swallow for most people
Unfortunately, the V7 doesn't come with any integrated storage for all of its tools, so it can be a bit of a pain to manage them in an organized fashion.
