The one drawback I found with this fan is its high cost. As much as it is one of the best tower fans to have in your home, it doesn’t come cheap.
However, Dyson has made it clear that their luxury positioning is no joke. The price of this model is so outside the value increase that it’s hard to recommend for anybody who doesn’t have a ton of disposable income.

Keep in mind, while generally considered a durable tower fan, this model can easily break if it’s carried by the loop. Damage to the fan caused by improper use will void the warranty.
While the fan can be controlled via a third party app if you end up misplacing your remote, consumers would like to see a Dyson specific app and a product with Bluetooth capability.

This tower fan's patented technology comes with a higher price tag then other models.
The Dyson AM07 Tower Fan is less powerful than the Seville and Vornado tower fans, and it was noticeably wobbly on both carpet and hard flooring.
The problem is that you have to aim the remote control directly to the fan base to get it to recognize the command. For a fan this expensive, we hoped the remote had a broader signal range.
The sound level at the highest setting is a bit louder than a whisper.

The fan has air-intake vents at the bottom that tend to pull in dust. Frequent cleaning is needed in this area. This might be a nuisance for many people. Also, the cleaning can damage the fan’s motor if not done properly.
