Expert Reviews

What reviewers liked

Multiple great tasting flavor options that work well in various recipes. Deliver 25 grams of protein per serving, and it has extremely low levels of sugar, carbs, and fat. Pure whey protein isolate, so it's easy to digest. Includes 5.5 grams of BCAAs that aid in quick recovery from tough workouts.
ISO 100 is a hydrolyzed whey, which means that whey isolate — the lowest fat, lowest calorie form of whey — has been run through enzymes that break it down into a form closer to its base amino acids. That means it digests more quickly than your standard isolate, and while a lot of people emphasize that as important for post-workout, I think it might be even more useful if you’re the type to consume whey before or during a workout. The science does indeed suggest Iso-100 may be extra effective for recovery, plus it’s very reasonably priced and tastes fantastic.
I really like Dymatize ISO100 Protein Powder and gave it 4 out of 5 stars. The company goes the extra mile and makes a very high quality protein powder. It uses 100% hydrolyzed whey protein isolate, which is super fast digesting. It’s also ultra filtered, so you’re left with purer protein that has the extra fat, lactose, cholesterol, and carbohydrates removed.
It is low in calories making it easy to add to a calorie restricted diet. Additonally, they offer a large variety of flavors and most of them are well-liked among consumers. The sugar content is exceptionally low as is the fat and carb content in this powerful protein supplement. You won't have any trouble mixing this product.

With this amount of BCAA per dose, Dymatize ISO 100 protein has 18% BCAA content, which is excellent. The vast majority do not come close to this number. Also, Dymatize ISO 100 goes through 5 controlled steps to purify and increase protein value. It removes all fat and lactose, leaving the whey protein with better digestion, being better assimilated by the body and with higher bioavailability.
If you’re looking for an effective protein that’s rapidly absorbed, look no further, ISO100 is a great choice! The products’ primary ingredient is hydrolyzed whey, which is the most rapidly digested form of protein you can get. It does also contain whey isolate but as the second listed ingredient. This means this products’ hydrolyzed whey component makes up at least 51% of the protein component of the product. This makes for an extremely effective whey protein powder.
I love this protein, its one of my favorites to date, in addition to the chocolate peanut butter flavor, which I am craving right now because the empty tub is sitting next to me for this review. For years, I have been very frugal with my whey protein, always looking at the deals and just buying whats on sales, not what I truly enjoy. I think this product may have changed me.

A fantastic protein powder that utilizes the highly refined form of protein known as Hydrolyzed Whey Protein Isolate. This pre-digested form of protein clears your gut within a short period of you consuming it and offers essentially the fastest rate of digestion of any protein except for maybe free form amino acids. Easily one of, if not the best protein powders on the market in terms of purity, ease of digestion, taste, and texture.
As a low-calorie protein powder, it’s perfect for dieting, or if you need a quick and easy way to increase the protein in your diet, with minimal fat and carbs. Dymatize only uses whey protein isolate and hydrolyzed isolate, with no whey protein concentrate. It speeds digestion, but is still expensive for a whey isolate powder.
Bang for your buck. That’s what you’re getting if you decide to purchase the ISO 100 Whey Protein Powder Isolate from Dymatize. We’re not even necessarily talking about pricing here. Although, for a 5-pound container, this Dymatize offering is fairly priced. What we’re really focusing on though is the amount of protein you’re getting in each serving. Obviously, you’re using these supplements because you want to significantly hike up your protein intake.
Some of things that are notable about this whey protein powder is that it offers zero carbohydrates with each scoop. This is ideal for those who need to — or want to — watch their carbohydrate intake. You also get 25 grams of high-quality, assimilable protein. One particular notable point is that thensf-cert-for-sportwhey protein is hydrolyzed, which means pre-digested for optimum assimilation.
ISO 100 contains 25g of whey protein isolate per 30g scoop. This gives it a very solid percentage of 83.3%. Whey protein isolate goes through more processing steps than whey protein concentrate to produce a higher percentage of protein content by weight, at 90% or more. It sacrifices more fat and carbohydrates than whey concentrate to reach 90%. Isolate is considered more suitable for those of you aiming to build lean muscle without adding body fat for this reason.

What reviewers didn't like

Pricier per ounce of powder than some other options.
It is a tiny bit salty, with 160 milligrams of sodium or 7 percent of the recommended daily intake. Contains soy. Contains artificial sweeteners. A little pricy.
It does contain milk and soy, so be aware if you’re allergic or sensitive.
Pricey. Some flavors are overly sweet.
-
We have concerns about the supplement because there’s no solid science to support weight-loss claims. Additionally, we have reservations about it because of the potential negative side effects and poor taste.
There is nothing much added to provide any additional benefit. Contains soy.
It is very sweet, I did not really like the flavor as I personally prefer richer chocolate flavors that are less sweet.
-
The only precaution that needs to be taken if you are particularly concerned is to start by taking a half serving for a day or two to test your tolerance and ability to digest the proteins.
As tends to be the case with protein powders, there are some reviews that gave a lower rating because the customer didn’t like the taste.
