From The Manufacturer

You can go way beyond sparkling water with Drinkmate. Looking to cut down on sugary sodas? Or searching for the perfect new drink? Then it’s time to get fizzy with Drinkmate. This is the best ‘soda maker’ that can directly carbonate any cold drink. Juices, iced tea or coffee, lemonade, energy drinks, wine, pre-mixed craft cocktails, and even flat soda or beer. Drinkmate sparkles them all! Our proprietary Fizz Infuser technology is what makes this possible through controlled pressure release.

Expert Reviews

What experts liked

This is where the beauty of DrinkMate kicks in: that collar/fizz infuser has both a slow and fast release valve, allowing what's inside to work its way back to equilibrium in an orderly manner.

If you are more interested in carbonating juice or wine than water, the iDrink Drinkmate is the only countertop soda maker we’ve found that’s up to the task.
Compatible with SodaStream CO2 canisters, BPA-free bottles, Carbonates more than just water.
The Drinkmate is by far the best option if you’re planning to carbonate drinks other than water.
Can carbonate liquids other than water, two-year warranty, pressure control valve decreases the chance of messes
The biggest advantage this soda maker has over its competitors is that you can use it with any cold, pulp-free beverage, even alcoholic ones.
DrinkMate isn’t going to turn white wine into champagne, but it certainly made mediocre-boxed wine more palatable to non-wine marks.

What experts didn't like

Further testing from other beers would be necessary, but at least for flat PBR, it just wasn't worth it

Some users feel the carbonation is on the light side.
Requires several steps to operate
The one disadvantage of the DrinkMate compared to the Aarke, and even to the SodaStream, is that the loading and unloading mechanism requires an extra piece of equipment. You have to connect a “fizz infuser” to the bottle before carbonating, and then, once the carbonation is complete, you need to release a tab to let out the excess gas and pressure before you open it up.
If you don’t like washing dishes, then you’ll be unhappy to know that iSoda advises against putting the bottle in the dishwasher
