We like to think it’s the next best thing to the womb. Babies can rest, play and lounge without the restrictions of buckles or the distraction of bells and whistles. The innovative design helps the baby feel snug and secure. When baby gets bigger, you can open the buckle on the dock. The dock is not designed to prevent a baby from rolling over. What experts liked

High sides help co-sleeping parents rest a bit easier. Bottom unbuckles to accomodate growing babies. Made with Microclimate technology to combat heat retention.
One of the biggest advantages is that it’s extremely portable and lightweight (about three pounds). I know a lot of people who have flown with it. I took it on a trip to visit family and it was a lifesaver. We could put it next to us in bed or even on the floor and it re-created the same exact crib environment he was used to, which meant no disruption to his sleep routine.
In a DockATot, they’re surrounded by bumper pillows which provide that cocoon-like sensation while, crucially, not posing a suffocation threat the way ordinary pillows do.
Different design to choose from.
The DockATot uses materials that are hypoallergenic and breathable. All materials are also washable. All parts of the DockATot meet the European Oeko-Tex® Standard 100 Class 1 standards. Parents say that their babies find the DockATot to be very comfortable.

You'll never worry about your little one over-heating or waking up to rashes with the DockaTot Deluxe because it's made from a hypoallergenic, breathable fabric. Its multiple handles make moving it a breeze, even while it's occupied.
The materials used in the lounger, primarily in the pad, are breathable, so your baby is less likely to overheat while lounging, playing, or sleeping in the DockaTot.
The feet section of the lounger can be conveniently opened for more space as baby grows, as well as easier diaper changes.
The Sleepyhead Deluxe is fabric covered marketed as a “deluxe portable baby bed”. The flattish bottom section with a firm bumper around the edge cocoons the baby. It is completely breathable, the filling has anti-fungal and anti-bacterial properties. 100% cotton cover and machine washable.
The sleeper is foldable, and you can even get a travel bag to make it more convenient. The cover of the sleeper is made out of 100 percent cotton, so it’s gentle on your baby’s sensitive skin.
Made with hypoallergenic fabrics that also have excellent air-permeability, there’s no need to worry about overheating. The DockATot Deluxe Lounger is great for co-sleeping and tummy time too.
Made in Europe, it’s made from high-quality, 100% cotton, breathable and non-toxic materials. AND it’s OEKO-TEX certified, been tested for safety and is compliant with CPSC’s safety standards.
The polyester pad is surrounded by a large tube and offers your baby a snug feeling – it’s supposed to feel very similar to the womb. The lack of buckles adds to a comfortable environment.
The co sleeper’s design to mimic like the mother’s womb and allows the baby to rest at arm’s reach adequately. It lets baby sleep snugly, just like in the mother’s tummy. It has a raised tube design that guards the baby while asleep. Its materials are made of cotton and polyester that is durable yet breathable for utmost comfort.
The DockATot was designed to resemble the womb so that babies would feel comfortable and be able to sleep in an environment familiar to them. It is considered to be super safe on the SIDS front, constructed out of air permeable fabric that is totally breathable.

It was great as a docking station anywhere in the house, he rested, played, lounged and also did tummy time at the tip of cushion which was pretty cool.
Keeps baby within reach. Snug and comfy safe space for baby to lounge.
The lounger is very comfortable. It is made of a nice, soft, breathable material.
It’s much easier to work around his nap schedule when I can move him to an area where he isn’t disturbed. Hubby docks him with him in the living room, so I can nap, which is an enormous blessing.
The DockATot is a very multi-functional baby lounger. It can be used for babies and toddlers, around the house, changing, naptime, cuddling, playing, bed transitioning, bonding, supervised tummy time and lounging.
Dock-a-Tot is very lightweight and portable. I could carry my son in one arm and the Dock-a-Tot in the other using the convenient straps.
It is portable and great for travel.
The most striking aspect of this lounger is the sideline which makes a safe place for your baby as well as a nice way to sleep with the baby without getting attached. Moreover, you can travel with this lounger because it’s lightweight and the exquisite appearance adds an extra ornament with baby!
It’s ideal for co-sleeping because of it’s unique rounded sides that create a barrier between baby and parent when used in an adult bed. The DockATot also has a womb-like shape, which gives your baby the ultimate nurturing comfort.
The DockATot comes in multiple colors and designs, and the best part – the covers are machine washable! We also love that we can easily take the DockATot with us anywhere. We travel to many different houses during the holiday season, and we were able to take this with us to each place. Sonny could still get a good nap in even though we weren’t at home – bonus!
The DockATot is hypoallergenic and is composed of fabrics that are said to have “excellent air permeability.” The cover is made of 100% cotton and the filling is made from non-toxic and breathable fibers. With the two materials combined, it makes the perfect temperature for baby whether its winter or summer. DockATot put a lot of time and research into finding a safe, comfortable, microclimate for babies everywhere, no matter the temperature.
The Dockatot cover is easy to wash.
It is very lightweight and actually has a handle so it's easy to travel with and can easily be moved from room to room. The DocATot was created in Sweden with an emphasis on design and comfort.
The Dock is great to bring with you if you go out of town. It’s perfect to take with you to a friend’s house so you can have safe and familiar place to let your baby hang out. Another one of my favorite features of the DockATot is that the cover is washable! I have washed the cover probably 1,000 times, and it comes out beautifully every time.
The other really useful function of the DockATot is that it’s a perfect travel bed for babies. It’s small enough to carry on a plane with us in the carry case or throw it into the car when we are visiting family + friends. Emmy will always have a safe, cozy place to relax on the go. That’s huge for our family!
We liked this baby lounger most because of its design made to perfectly work when you want to co-sleep with your baby. The rounded sides are perfect as they create a barrier between you and the baby so the baby can have and maintain his/her sleeping space.
It’s a dock, like a safe place to plop your newborn when you’re moving rooms. It’s a playspace, which is both comfortable and stylish (no more hideous playmats!) and it’s a consistent bed for your baby to sleep in.
I love being able to use the dock for the twins naptimes, co-sleeping- perfect for safe bonding time, playtime on the back or tummy time- the bumper on the dock is great for propping the baby up on their tummy helping to build back and neck muscles. I can grab the lounger’s and toss them into the car for visits to family and friends, hotel stays, quick diaper changes, and more.
The main reason parents buy one is, so their baby can have a safe place for tummy time. That’s the best thing about this baby lounger! It helps baby during tummy time because of the pillow tube. Your baby’s senses don’t have to suffer because there are a variety of covers with different shapes and patterns that will equally keep them engaged and amused.
The DockATot is convenient because I can move it from room to room easily, and that’s really important with an on-the-go toddler. Henry has multiple places in our home that he plays, so whether we’re watching TV and playing in the living room, playing in the hearth room, or hanging out in his room, Ruby can come with us and continue napping.
The DockATot has gained popularity, in my opinion, because it provides the womb-like, snug feeling that so many newborns desire in those first few months after birth. Parents love it because it’s easy to transport from room to room.
We are able to put the DockATot on the floor while we shower, cook, or do other things and let Bella chill while we prep dinner or get ready. It's such a nice soft place for her. You can also use it as a changing station or for tummy time so you definitely get a variety of uses for one item which is a bonus for parents- less things to lug around! One of our favorite thing about the DockATot is the ease of transport. It is about 3 pounds and very lightweight.

What experts didn't like

High price. Hot sleepers might still end up sweating in spite of the temparature regulating design.
Not easy to replace the cover after washing
DockATot's safety instructions are confusing and impossible to follow, in our opinion. Adults must be "semi-alert" but not necessarily awake when using the DockATot for an infant. At the same time, DockATot warns it is "not to be used for unsupervised sleep." It is unclear how any adult could be sound asleep AND simultaneously supervising an infant sleeping next to them in a DockATot.
Cannot be folded.
A few parents noticed their babies getting a little sweatier than usual, so be mindful of that.
-
While the inner pad of the Snuggle Me stretches and curves to your baby’s body like a hammock, the pad of the DockaTot is a lot less intricate and therefore may not be as comfortable for some infants.
While the tube-shaped wall is good for propping baby up and tummy-time, it may not be suitable for all planned uses.
Some parents reported having trouble keeping the buckles closed.
The DockAtot can not be used inside a crib or bassinet.
Despite the claims that this can be used as a changing station the sides can get in the way when using the sleeper in this way.
This product is a little on the pricey side.
The DockATot is only good for newborns through three-year-olds. Not sure if you would want to use it past three, but it is only good for a short period of time. May not be worth the investment for you, if your kid is reaching towards the older toddler years and you won’t be able to get much use out of it.
Not easy to replace the cover after washing.
High price tag!
Hard to replace cover after washing.
DockATot Deluxe is almost $25 more expensive than Snuggle Me Organic.
The biggest con about the DockATot is probably the price: They start at $165 which seems pretty pricey for something you only use a few months. The accessories are expensive as well.
The DockATot Deluxe is a more pricey lounger.
