Brand Story By Delta Children From the Manufacturer This Delta 3-in-1 foldable portable crib offers the ultimate in style, safety, functionality and convenience. A smaller item altogether (uses about 35% less space than a full-size crib), it’s perfect for smaller spaces such as apartments, second homes or a night at the Grandparents. The crib features a 1 inch waterproof mattress and adjustable 2 position mattress support that allows the crib to be used as a bassinet, changer and/or play pen. Hooded caster wheels allow it to be moved easily from one room to another and because it’s compact it fits easily through any doorway. When not in use the crib folds up to a mere 6 inches wide in minutes and can be stored away easily in a closet or under a bed. It’s lightweight, very sturdy and built of solid hardwoods featuring a gorgeous (non-toxic) finish. This crib meets or exceeds all JPMA and ASTM safety standards and contains no lead. Minimal assembly required.

What experts didn't like

It can scratch easily
Delta Children don’t recommend using a different mattress, which isn’t something I was wild about.
Gives off a paint smell that airs out over time.
Unfortunately, despite the testing, there is a strong chemical smell when this is new. It is best to stick it in a room for 2-3 days and let it air out before using.
The wheels can’t be locked in place.
The mattress is 1 inch in thickness. So, as your baby grows, you may have to buy a thicker one.
Legs don’t fold
Mattress height is a little low
One problem is the mattress pad that comes with the crib. It is a low-quality mattress pad that you’ll likely want to replace. But it is included for free, so it is not a major disadvantage.
Wood chips easily
Smaller size of the crib only allows one baby to sleep at a time
The construction is dense hard-wood but the finish is cheap and scratches easily
Doesn’t convert to toddler bed
Paint has noticeable odor. Must purchase mattress seperately
This is a slightly higher priced crib, but its style and functionality really do make up for the minimal extra cost.
It has a pretty thin mattress
The mattress pad is too thin.
Misaligned holes
Paint will chip off from the teething rail unless you use a protector.
