Expert Reviews

What experts liked

A nice looking kitchen machine that is just a step down from Cuisinart's top model.
Our testers were impressed with the dicing kit, which chopped firm vegetables like potatoes and carrots into even cubes.
Extremely well made. Great power. Fantastic versatility.
The large bowl size is generous, great for processing a big batch of food without having to continuously empty to refill. I’ve never had a “mini-bowl” for small batch, and just realized how useful it is!
It scored particularly well in the mixing and shredding metrics.
No matter if you’re prepping coleslaw for a crowd or dicing a handful of greens as a garnish, this machine is up to the task.

What experts didn't like

Noisy. Some owners who have used it for awhile notice that machine slows down when adding food during processing.
Didn’t chop as evenly as our picks.
The blades and slicer attachments were very wobbly and would not stay on the base causing the blades to stop turning. I could not chop any nuts, it would not cream butter or cream cheese. As soon as the product was added, the blades would stop spinning.
After washing, the blade is still stained with carrot. I now have an orange blade!
Unfortunately, performance plummeted when it came to chopping carrots, with this model tying for the lowest score. The carrots weren't very uniform, and we were unable to chop the residual large pieces of carrots without over-processing a significant portion of the carrots.
