Expert Reviews

What reviewers liked

Fast brewing time in at most 45 minutes. The water tank can be removed for cleaning and filling. Filter basket can easily be maintained. Coffee strength choices: mild, medium, bold.
Most of the parts are dishwasher-safe, which was a pleasant surprise. Overall it was fairly easy to use.
Fast brewing. Adjustable coffee strength. Dishwasher-safe parts.
The removable parts of the coffee maker are all dishwasher safe taking the hassle out of cleaning up afterwards.

What reviewers didn't like

The smaller parts are hard to clean.
The brewing process is loud. It takes 35 minutes for medium-strength batch, so that's a lot of on/off whirring.
Expensive. Fragile filter basket. Loud while brewing.
There have been those that claim that even the strongest drinks brewed through this coffee maker are a little too mild for their tastes. Since the resulting coffee is not particularly strong, it cannot be used for speciality drinks like an iced mocha or frappuccino.
