Expert Reviews

What reviewers liked

It raises the play area to levels which are more ergonomic, and won't cause pain to the wrists after hours of use, and more importantly, it does not depend on leg positioning to support the desktop. The desk portion is rigid and strong, the pads are covered in genuine leather.
Overall, the fit and finish seems to be top-notch, well thought out, and very well made. It’s at the upper end of the spectrum as far as bringing gaming functionality away from your desk, but the features that the COUCHMASTER Cycon offers make it worthy of the asking price.
The Couchmaster Cycon is one of the most comfortable solutions. If you’re tired of sitting at a desk while you binge games for hours on end, but don’t want to make any sacrifices in visual quality or input accuracy, then you should definitely take a look at the Cycon.
Overall the product has a nice look and feel. The side cushions are comfortable and provide ample arm support. There is plenty of space on the desk area for peripherals and whatever else you may want to be comfortable.

What reviewers didn't like

One issue does come up with using leather on the armrests though, and that is after many hours of use, you do tend to sweat on them, which does make it slippery at times.
They state that this is a one-size-fits-all, or “fits every body size” solution to comfortable couch gaming. I didn’t exactly find this to be the case… technically. It did fit me, but I found myself worrying that I was going to dump over the plank if I wasn’t careful.
There are the screws which prevent access to the Lapboard’s USB 3.0 hub. These make swapping components in and out a little more inconvenient than I feel is necessary. Accessing this without needing the (provided) screwdriver would be a lot better. Then there’s the power adapter that is sold separately.
Cable management covers attached by screws. Bulky. AC adapter extra. Insufficient USB ports on the desktop.
